1. Someone need to snap this up!!! I have one of these and it's amazing. The sound and sheer mwaaaah factor are fantastic. This is a lot of bass for a crazy low price.!!! P.s. I am in no way affiliated with this seller. Other Fretless basses are available. Finance available at 10,000 % per day. Thank you .
2.
I guess because I'm not very familiar with 2loop blend pedals (the COG which has been discussed, or something like the Boss LS2? See, clueless ), and was exposed to ABY pedals first, so currently favour them? I'm pretty new to effects, so am not familiar with every permutation. At the risk of derailing the thread (apologies OP!) it sounds like that needs a pretty specific kind of octave pedal, which is perhaps more expensive than a 'standard' octave pedal with a cheap ABY box which can actually be used for a couple of other applications? Genuine interest by the way, I'm here to learn!
No apology needed my friend!! I'm happy for any advice-my previous fx use has been limited, so if anything comes up that's useful as a result of this thread then that's a good thing!
3. I'm really gratefull for everyone's input to this. I'm watching a mooer on eBay at the minute after having checked some demos out on YouTube. Will let you know how it goes! Matt
4. Hadn't looked at the mooer. Nice one! Am thinking that this could so the job! Thanks very much Matt
5. Bugger!!! Well that kinda deals with that then! Thanks for your help
6. Advice needed please peeps! I'm after an octave pedal, but one that allows me to octave 'up' as well as just 'down' So far I think I've narrowed it down to these two. Money is a factor and the boss is obviously cheaper than the pog. However, I don't know if it will allow me to do what I want. Any advice or comments gratefully appreciated! Thanks in advance Matt
7. Let's all chip in for it then have a ceremonial burning !!!!! Next bass chat event anyone ?! 😂😂
8. Looks lovely....despite being a G4M buy! Good example of a well cared for bass IMO http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=231518747597

10. Tbh I think if he filed the nut and tweaked the neck to within a knats c*ck of being level, then took the pickups out, replaced them with a haddock and finally advertised it in Mahooosive Hands monthly....he'd sell it in minutes.....
11.
He's still very much in business. I'm waiting for someone to set up a fan page for the man on facebook!
I follow his ebay listings...still makes me howl with laughter....
12. Hi all, got two copies of this album as Amazon cocked up the delivery. If anyone wants it, drop me a PM with your address and it's yours. Matt
13. 2nd transaction with Ash, just received his Tony Butler Vintage bass-spanking new condition and very well packaged! He even held it for me for a week to allow for xmas funding !!!!! Thanks Ash. Deal with total confidence-top bloke.
14. My first bass in 1986 was exactly the same as this Kay. I remember collecting it, having saved paper round money and was so excited. Yes, in hindsight it was beyond dreadful.....however.... It turned me onto a whole new world, and I've never looked back..... Not so much the Sound City amp I had that sounded like sh*te, distorted beyond belief at any volume past 2......and weighed more than my dads legendary Rover 827 SLi!....yea readers that's right.....an SLi! 😂😂😂
15. In the very unlikely event that this is still here on Dec 26th-I'll have it!!!!!!!! Pesky xmas!!!!
