1. I'll take them please! Can you pm me your details and I'll paypal over as a gift? Thanks Matt
2. Thanks for the help AT. Looking forward to getting it. Will decided when I get it back as to what the eventual plan will be. Very keen on going down the fretless route but not sure if my lack of technical knowledge would make it prohibitive!! Then again at £16.......doesn't really matter!!!
3. Erm....just won this .....for the princely sum if £16!!!!!!! Have I missed something? I thought the old encores were pretty good 'cheapo' basses? Going to use it as the basis for a fretless project! Should be fun if nowt else!!! http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=281373415831
4. 😆😆 I actually want to buy one.....hence stumbling on his auction....cannot understand how he expects to sell it !!!!!
5. Not sure if this is collection only or not ?...... http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=390877536882
6. Fantastic deal. Well done Geek99.....credit to bobs for offering a fantastic deal. #spiritofbasschat
7. Amazing price! I'll bags second dibs if it doesn't sell to Geek99 Matt
8.
"The tone isnt sacrificed at all. It's mostly barely audible rumblings at the low end"....
So why even bother? Why I ask you....WHY?, WHY? WHYYYYYYYYYYY????? 'Bangs head repeatedly against wall'
9. I think the HB are good value as long as you're not expecting top end refinement. I've got a HB Electro acoustic bass that I've had for 4 years, cost me about £125 and it's great! Full scale, good eq, holds it's own gigging and recording. I honestly don't think you can fault them for what they are.
10. I had mine in about 90/91. It was a really good bass.
11. I had a white one of these when they came out. Bloody heavy, but brilliant build quality and great sound.
12. Sold!-mods, can you please lock this now? Thanks Matt
13. Minging bank holiday weekend rubbish weather BUMP!
14. Can anyone let me know how to upload photos from my phone pls?
15. For sale-squire cv 50's pbass in lake placid blue. Bought on BC over a year ago but I can't remember who off 😕.....sorry... Tug bar has been moved above e string. Stock pup has been replaced with 50's re-issue one, cloth wiring and CTS pots installed and orange capacitor. Sounds bloody mahoooosive ! Great to Play although a chunkier neck than I'm used too. Pretty much spotless....small area of tarnishing on bridge but may polish out. Recently set up and new strings fitted. I'd like £195 for it excluding posting. I am happy to arrange courier at cost, you can arrange your own or alternatively pick up from me in Leicester. Happy to meet if not too far and it makes life easier for you! Any questions then pm me please and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Matt No trades I'm afraid. The gretsch coming into the fold means this one has to leave!
16. Really enjoyed it. Some lovely basses around! Good to see the Gretsch get some interest! Thanks guys Matt
17. Thanks for adding me to the list! I only live 2 mins from Brockington college.....or 'brocko' as the yokels call it! So if anyone is worried about leaving stuff in cars then you're welcome to drop it at mine and collect it on the way back.....
18. Can someone add me please? I'll bring the gretsch baritone . Thanks
19. I bought the gretsch baritone on here the other day.....it's brilliant. I wasn't sure what to except but it plays like a dream, sounds great and well balanced weight.....this is basically the regular bass version...hope someone gets a good deal on this..
20. * Ergonomic slim contoured body with streamlined 'fast', playable neck REALLY?!?!?!
21. I just don't get it!.......why???? Surely just get a Stick?! 😳 Although I've heard tell he plays an AMAZING rendition of londons burning on it !😆
22. Collected and back home! It's mint! Guy who owned was of 'advanced years!' He'd had it from new.....
