  4. Curious, how much AI went into making that image? 😉
  5. It will be an interesting case if it happens - I think for now it's probably quite safe to purchase the IP as if a case like this happens the companies selling the AI music creation will have far more to lose than any individual so are far more likely to defend their business plan.
  6. Bloody hell, could this thread not be a review of The Inevitable Teaspoons album instead? Got my hopes up there
  7. I'm old fashioned in this respect - you use it, you pay for it.
  8. Loving the look of that . It could be a stunner . Here's one I made earlier .....

CPC version of Lumberg jacks are very good 👍
  11. I did come across a fretted one that had twin WALBUCKERS fitted and a filtered EQ pre-amp system similar to WAL system and that bass sounded absolutely gorgeous. Bass Direct have it shown but OUT OF STOCK but you can get them fitted with other Humbucker style pick ups and John East pre-amps so i'm guessing they are a custom order thing. Pic below taken from Bass Direct site and VID below that on Youtube. Dave
  12. So the walnut jazz bass has been started. The knot in the next pocket is a pain but I am going to fill it with black epoxy and make a feature of it. This one is my own shape with a short top horn and a few mm shorter body length that is less curved across the bottom. It will be hand oil sanded and I might put a few coats of gloss nitro clear coat over the oil when it’s cured. I think it might be a stunner!

  14. Yep that's what we generally do Daryl. We recently added 48 Crash by Suzie Quatro, Mamma Mia by ABBA and reintroduced Jeepster by T.Rex and Cum on Feel the Noise by Slade which we dropped 4 or 5 yrs back but decided to give them another go. Lynn now sings the Slade song and the ABBA songs we do. 48 Crash turned out to be the more difficult one to get right because of the mid section but we eventually got it right on the 2nd gig 😂. We generally try to make a rehearsal a Sun afternoon for 6hrs and bring sandwiches, coffee and of course cake and just feels more like a get together with mates. We normally finish at 5hr mark but studios are almost always 3hr slots but it makes everything a lot less hectic trying to fit a full song list into 3 hrs. With 6hrs we know we can easily slot in new songs and every song we have in our repertoire as some don't get played regularly as we change the sets to suit type of venues. Clubs prefer dancing songs while music venues prefer the rockier type songs or ones like Ziggy Stardust that isn't a very dancing song. I practice the full song list at least once a week at home anyways sometimes twice. Was hard work when i was doing the punk band and the 80's rock band at same time. At 65 i decided it was all too much and dropped it back to our Glam band and its been a good decision. Dave
  15. Quite a nice bit of wood on that fretboard as well.

  18. Yep - that was me, a newbie and now proven idiot. I didn't realise that post was against the rules or I wouldn't have posted it. Anyway, I took the listing down as I had it titled wrong and I wanted to do a bit more research, I totally didn't realise it was anything out of the ordinary until it was pointed out to me. I'm not in a rush to get rid of it and not going to be an arsehole on the price either. Unfortunately I didn't see your advice before the post was deleted though thank you anyway. But I also now know not to accept £43!!
  19. I clearly didn't read the rules properly and I apologise!
  20. I meant the f-hole shape specifically, not the general idea of a long & thin soundhole. I have one of these guitars and it’s no problem. but this gives me the willies:
  21. Been wanting a Dimarzio DP122 for my Warmoth for yonks. Then I wussed out and even cooled off from getting a Jazz pup in the bridge position. Enter Bronco which I seem to have fallen in love with. wondering if I should route it and get two concentric pots vol/tone for each pup? There’s cons to adding money leading to a “you can’t polish a turd” conclusion. The force is strong….

  23. Price drop - £135 includes UK postage Hi, I’m selling my Aguilar Octamizer version 2. Well looked after and very little use. £185 price includes UK Postage. Here’s a bit of info from Aguilar: AN ALL-ANALOG OCTAVE PEDAL THAT CREATES A WIDE RANGE OF MUSICAL SOUNDS AN OCTAVE BELOW YOUR BASS SIGNAL. Modeled with old school and new school needs in mind, the Octamizer features independent volume controls for both the Clean and Octave sounds. This makes dialing in the exact amount of each a cinch. The two discrete signal paths also have their own tone controls that were specifically designed to enhance and expand their musical possibilities. The CLEAN TONE control uses a full spectrum tilt EQ, allowing for the boosting of treble while cutting bass or boosting of bass while cutting treble. This unique circuit allows you to create a clean sound that creates an octave doubling effect or to blend the sounds together for a great thick, snarky synth tone. *Pedal powered by universal 9-volt power supply only. Not included. Proprietary detector circuit for superior tracking Continuously variable multipole low-pass filter for Octave sound Dual filter architecture Full spectrum tilt EQ for clean sound Pedal powered by universal 9-volt power supply only. Not included. Cheers! Michael
  24. Here’s the dimensions straight from the Aguilar website. I think it’s in inches. Hope this helps! Cheers!

  27. While waiting for the Anagram’s next firmware update for full MIDI support, I just got this Pirate MIDI Aero. Easy to setup and the editor is really nice. Currently using it to cycle on my 3 fave presets. Will program it later for more flexibility. Current state of the board.
