I have owned one of these in the past. Don't be put off by the shape - I found mine surprisingly ergonomic - it balances well and the top edge of the body formed what I can only describe as a "shelf" for my forearm to rest on. Really quite pleasant playing experience, and sounded good too. I felt enriched and enlightened by the experience of owning and playing one. And yes, you feel like a bloomin' rock god when you're playing it - you will throw shapes and pull faces. GLWTS!

Unused, mint pedal. Only used once to test it before listing. Purchased for a project but ended up not using it. Price includes shipping in the UK JHS' blurb below! The JHS Emperor V2 is a true analogue bucket brigade Chorus and Vibrato Pedal with tap tempo and expression control, waveform selection, TRS stereo output and active EQ. The Emperor is a vintage style effect that absolutely nails the hard to find sound of the Arion SCH-1 stereo chorus but its also a do it all modulation solution whether you want a subtle sheen, convincing rotary simulation or seasick vibrato, vibrato mode removes all the dry signal for true pitch modulation (Boss VB-2 style). It utilizes a Bucket Brigade 3207 chipset to deliver the warmth of '80s style analogue chorus pedals with enough control to put you in command of every aspect of the Emperor’s voice. The tone control has been improved by using an active EQ that functions as a tilt, noon is flat, turning to the left boosts highs and cuts lows while turning right boosts lows and cuts highs giving much more tone shaping capability without losing any low end sometimes found with chorus/vibrato pedals. Control the rate of the effect with either the speed knob, tap tempo footswitch or through the side mounted jack, the jack allows you to plug in an external tap tempo controller or an expression pedal for variable control in real time (side mounted switch selects between tap switch or expression pedal in), you can even slave the pedal to other tap controlled pedals for rhythmic consistency across all your effects (e.g. JHS Panther Cub Delay and Unicorn pedals). The Depth knob controls the amount of modulation, a switch selects between chorus and vibrato effects and a waveform switch selects between sine, square and triangle waveform types. The JHS Emperor V2 has a hidden stereo trick up its sleeve, plugging a TRS splitter cable in to the output jack will give true stereo output for use with two amps. An internal switch changes from buffered to true bypass operation, the high quality buffer helps drive long cable runs and complex pedal setups while restoring high end loss. Whether spreading its warm tones or icy sheen to a pristine sounding stereo rig or utilising an external expression pedal for realistic rotary speaker sounds on a blues gig, the Emperor can do it all. Features Vintage style analogue bucket brigade chorus and vibrato pedal Switch to select between chorus and vibrato, vibrato removes dry signal for true pitch modulation Waveform switch selects between sine, square and triangle waveform types Active EQ tone knob that functions as a tilt Set modulation speed multiple ways: speed knob, tap tempo footswitch, expression pedal or slave in 1/4" Input jack for external tap tempo/slave or expression pedal (side mounted switch selects input) Depth knob controls the amount of modulation Volume control knob Plugging a TRS splitter cable in to the output jack will give true stereo output Switchable between buffered and true bypass (internal switch) Convenient top mounted input and output jacks 9 V Power jack (no battery connector) Made in the USA 4 Year warranty Tech Specs Width: 66 mm (2.6") Length: 122 mm (4.8") Height (excluding knobs): 41 mm (1.6") Power Draw: 57 mA Manufacturer Part Number: 650415211869 UPC-A: 650415211869

Fantastic, discontinued, analog delay pedal inspired by the EHX Deluxe Memory Man and BOSS DM-2, but with far more scope and possibilities (per usual for Chase Bliss!) Has lived in my smoke-free and pet-free studio. A few small cosmetic scratches, which show up more than normal due to the metallic finish, but pedal in perfect working order. Ships with original wooden box, manual and velvet pouch.

Behringer XTouch universal control surface for sale. Motorised faders, LCD scribble strips - ideal for use with a laptop if you have Behringer XR18/X32R etc. I've used this successfully with Reaper, Logic Pro and my old XR18 mixer. It's just not being used now as I tend to do everything on the laptop and for mastering/editing I have a Presonus Faderport. £230 posted? (Sorry about poor pics - it's not as filthy as it looks!)

For sale, my Radial Tonebone Bassbone OD preamp pedal. A two-channel bass preamp with HPF, piezo input for double bass, DI out and switchable overdrive. A great pedal, I used it for years to double on electric and DB. Made it really easy with the dual EQ, switchable HPF, boosted input for the DB and tuner out. I've gone to more separated signal paths now (still via a Radial I/O!) so this is just sitting around not doing anything. Comes with original box, papers, and PSU. NOTE THAT THIS USES A 15v CENTRE POSITIVE PSU so you need the proper power supply or one that can feed it the correct polarity supply. A 'normal' Boss-style PSU won't work and will fry the pedal (as I found out with another one of these - this is the replacement one I bought). Recently PAT-tested too. Has Dual-lock on the bottom. These are now RRP £439! £260 posted.

Not sure how to price this, but here goes: I have a Sushi Box Finally V3 DI for sale. The snag - it is slightly defective. I ordered this on 5 February 2025 and paid about £220 or so (US$275). It arrived a few weeks later and I paid £50.26 in import duty and VAT etc to Mr Royal Mail. https://www.sushiboxfx.com/product/finally-v3/ It sounds amazing, does exactly what I wanted it to do. It gives a lovely warm fatness to the tone - since I started using it, I've had a lot of compliments from non-bassists about the sound. It is a tube DI using a 12AU7 valve, and includes a variable switchable HPF from 30 - 120Hz. There is an issue with the HPF circuit on this particular pedal, which means when it's in use, it becomes microphonic, in the same way a defective valve does. At first I thought it was the valve, but after testing it became clear it was an issue with the HPF. That meant it didn't work for me, as I had it on a board because I need to do lots of effects and input changing, and every time I pressed anything on the board, it thumped through the amp etc. However, if you're using it in a situation where it's not on a pedalboard, or it's an 'always on' pedal sat on your amp , or in the studio, you won't notice it. You can also switch off the HPF, and use it just as a valve DI. It's possible to switch out the valve for a more aggressive one, giving you saturated overdrive tones if wanted. So - it works, it's just a bit noisy if you touch the chassis when the HPF is engaged. I've had a warranty replacement that works. Has Dual-lock on the bottom. I'll start at £250 posted but happy to listen to offers.

Likes a Nice bit of plain ash. Thinking of giving the SR600 a rubdown As for the neck... I don't mind pale maple necks, and quite like pale rose wood. Roasted Maple can look nice and can be kept unfinished ish, rather than going for a tint. Flame necks look a bit, well, OTT especially with a plainer grain of ash. Black Pearl, nice.

There's only one case where that makes sense, that's when you have a 2x that's 8 ohms and a 4x that's 4 ohms, with all six drivers being identical, and the amp is rated for 2 ohm operation. Otherwise go with the one cab that gives the better results.

This completely changed my views on what it is that makes a bass great. These were originally cheap by design, Nathan Daniel cut every corner he could dream of to keep the cost down. And yet was determined to create an instrument for students , and beginners that was playable. And he did just that. Longhorns weigh next to nothing , but don’t think the lack of weight makes them flimsy , they’re tough as nails. They sound great , in good hands can be simply amazing. And they’re really fun to play. Dano aficionados say the early reissues from the Shinko Factory in Korea are the best of the lot. With fresh rounds they can have that zing you might get with a baritone guitar or a Bass VI , with flats or older rounds they are simply great thump machines.
