That is going to look fantastic with black hardware. Looking forward to seeing the end result.

I've had it since Tuesday. Unbelievably, I've only just had the chance to give it a brief go this afternoon. Haven't tried any Bass patches yet (I'll try them tomorrow when I have a bit more time), but the guitar patches are superb. Patch 1B "Double Double" (2 Fender Twins in stereo, with really nice reverb) is brilliant. I've had a Helix Floor, Stomp, and HX Rack but I definitely think the Agoura amps are an improvement. For some reason some FX sound more "sparkly" if you get what I mean, even though Line6 said there have been np improvements to them (yet !)

Fantastic basses these... they punch well above their weight. If this was a 6 string I'd have bought it already especially considering I'm about 10 miles from you! Hipshot hardware (even the knobs!), active Bartolini pickups and preamp, through neck, all for a shade north of £300? Great deal, great bass.

I figured out my PARS will be happy with 1,9,17,25 etc. But means page switching when programming them.

Stub Mandrel started following Mandolins - show us yer mini axes! and show us your marleaux basses

Not a Marleaux on the right, but I'd class it as a copy... HB Marquess.

Well, it's finally finished. In the end I went in a completely different direction with the colour - a subtle pearl white (my first bass hero was Duff from Guns 'n' Roses). The guy who painted it did the neck as well - it now looks less like an original '70s Precision and more like one that was refinished by a hair metaller in the '80s. It sounds amazing too - it's a heavy beast but the ash/maple really gives it some snap, which is exactly what I wanted. The normal deadspot you get on 34" basses is barely there either, which is a bonus. Nice low action too.

How was Your rehearsal last morning or night ?
Rosie C replied to nilorius's topic in General Discussion
That is an amusing thought, particularly given the headache it's causing my mechanic. But no, it's definitely MY van. I have a Morris band practice on Monday and I need to take double bass, I guess my bass uke might have to get a trip out. -
Apologies, missed this when you posted - yes I do, it only didn't go to the tip this week as the weather was so cr@p...... Will hang onto it if you're up for collecting

Well-used Keeley Bassist compressor, in fully working condition. Cosmetically it’s not in great nick, but functionally it’s exactly as it should be. Includes original box manual / paperwork Velcro on the base, as it’s lived on a board. Anyone who knows the Bassist will know how good these are, simple, transparent, and very effective compression. £90 Happy to meet in / around Edinburgh, or can post for around £10 UK at buyer’s cost.
