The BDDI v2 sim on the Zoom MS-60B+ is bang-on also. Very hard to tell them apart. Plus there’s a ‘Clear Driver’, Zoom’s own take on the Sansamp, and the SVT sim is pretty decent too (just a shame there’s no blend on it).

It is affected by the master volume, yes.

For 2k I'd rather buy a new one and sleep soundly.

Yeah this, the BG-400 or BG-450 might make a good small gig amp however at double the weight and price you'd have to really like the sound of the thing. Having said all that I'd swap my very capable neo 1x10 cab out for a red C4 in a heartbeat.

Agree but totally cannot fault my v7-5 sire. Just don’t need anything else even a keyboard player said “that looks awesome” upon first sight. The guitarists didn’t say anything as it was snack time and someone had hidden their duplo

Re-gluing that bit that the tailpiece wires rest on

Rush got it wrong - it’s not The Spirit Of Radio, it’s “the spirit of basschat”. Losers, Rush will never do anything successful, five minute wonder you need something called X, I have three and I’ll send you the best one by express 24. Don’t send money. Right there, right there in the Walmart 👍 -

MarkBass Little Mark IV and MB58R 102 Energy cabs
Rewbass replied to BassAdder60's topic in Amps and Cabs
The Markbass IV is a very good combo, but I'm afraid the new model MB58R got worse. The mids sound too boxy to my ears. Markbass did something wrong with these new CMD combos. It might be some plastic pieces inside. -

Thanks. I will try with this one because it is fitted so will not need any work other (!) than un-bannanaing it. -

Hi everyone! My name’s Rew. I’ve been playing bass for about 14 years now, mostly self-taught, and I totally fell in love with the groove. I currently play a Fender P-Bass through a Markbass, and I’m really into hard-rock. Huge fan of 'simple' playing: the less notes, the better (IMO). I joined the forum to learn more from you all. Looking forward to the conversations! Cheers!

I'd say maybe an Eden EC8 or 10... but no DI, even on the 10 I picked up an EC8 for £Cheap. See whats local, might be something nice at a price just up the road.

Just a little update to say that the bass performed very well at its first live outing. Also, it's a wonderfully comfortable bass to play. Maybe it's just me but there's a bevel cut into the top edge of the body which my wrist just sits on like it was designed for it. Someone stop me from taking a saw and chisel to all my basses
