Pedaltrain Nano in top condition with (soft side) velcro attached. Harley Benton ISO-5 PSU velcro'd to the underside. Cracking little PSU - 5 outputs, two are switchable 9/12/18V, I've had it for a while and used it a lot, it's never missed a beat. Full spec and blurb here: https://www.thomann.co.uk/harley_benton_powerplant_iso_5_pro.htm Includes replacement myvolts power adapter/adaptor (which cost about £17 as I recall) as well as the original (euro plug with clunky adapter/adaptor - it'll do as a spare). The myvolts needs a polarity reverser, (which is also included), the original doesn't. Includes 5 pedal power leads and a reverse polarity lead for the LEDs. And TWO free velcro cable ties! The LEDs are remote controllable, different colours (to match your shoes), they can fade, they can flash in time to the music, they're utterly stupid, pointless and completely fantastic. Includes soft carrying case with decent sized front pocket and shoulder strap. This has never been used and is in mint condition. I'd rather sell these together, but I'll change my tune if they're still here in a week or two. £75 posted or £70 collected from Bewdley DY12 I go to Brum and Worcester a lot, happy to meet up or possibly deliver. Any questions (about the item) please ask.

Personally I don’t think it matters much as long as you and any audience are enjoying. playing an instrument and with other people is supposed to be fun. It’s what I do to get away from my working day where I have to conform- if I substitute a verse pattern for a chorus pattern because I feel like it, or I make a mistake, no fairies will die.

Sadly the video files we have of this bass are too large to upload but here’s a link to our Facebook page where you can see it https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1CTLc7Rn87/?mibextid=wwXIfr Here’s more pics of the finished bass -
Well, I tried securing another potential "not for sale" bass, the Ian Hill signature model, today. Unfortunately, I was outbid on ebay 😞

Peavey Bass speaker buzz/distorted- possible to fix?
Dan Dare replied to Bluemeanie72's topic in Amps and Cabs
Paper cones are often doped to increase stiffness and durability. You could try that ("Google "speaker cone dope"), but the stuff isn't cheap. In my experience, once a cone has aged, dried out (or got damp - the OP mentioned the combo had been in his garage for years) and become brittle, fixes will only work temporarily and the bullet - a recone or new driver - has to be bitten eventually. -

Peavey Bass speaker buzz/distorted- possible to fix?
natasha44 replied to Bluemeanie72's topic in Amps and Cabs
Hi everyone, thanks for sharing these useful tips! I’m currently trying to fix a similar Peavey bass speaker, and I totally agree that pushing gently from behind is a safer way to avoid damaging the fragile paper cone. Has anyone had success using flexible speaker glue or any other repair method? Would really appreciate hearing your experiences or advice before. -

Was this just your in-ears? Are you using ZS10 Pros? I find these do have some pretty striking resonances and unless your in ear fit is near perfect they can sound this way. I've ended up first of all with the tripkle flange ear tips that go deep into my ear canals and ultimately with moulded ear tips and they've improved matters. There is quite a pronounced mid range suckout too, they are far from flat, see below. I'd start by trying to get a great fit but then filtering out the sub 50Hz content and boosting 100-1.5kHz to flatten out the response, or at least being aware of the response when you eq. The other thing is that the audience experience of your bass looks to be pretty good and I find the live sound of my bass compared to my practice sound is really mid dominated and thin and clacky might be a good description. If you've got your bass well forward in your personal mix then you aren't hearing what the audience hear. Even if you aren't using ZS10's the mid suckout isn't rare in headphones I'd still be looking to check for a good fit and looking to boost low mids a little for bass.
