  2. That’s a nice bass, I definitely prefer that finish to the other one. I’m after a maple board ideally but I should definitely give the higher end Yamahas a try, I know they’re great basses.
  3. I do agree Tom, but without the original packaging, I'd be concerned about sending this out into courier world. I also much prefer potential buyers to confirm they are happy with the item in person before they purchase. However, if a buyer would be prepared to arrange collection by their preferred courier I could source appropriate packaging.
  4. Great wireless in-ear solution, purchased for a silent-stage project that never happened. As such it has never been used at all (actually never left the carry-case. Grab yourself a brand new bargain! (These are £208 new from Thomann). https://www.thomann.co.uk/ld_systems_mei_100_g2.htm
  5. @terryj I’ve edited your original post to mention 4 ohms, not 5. Cheers Si
  6. I doubt many at all. A bass designed to fit one man’s extremely niche requirements, and its ugly as sin on top of that! Hopefully they’re made to order.
  7. The latest iteration of my gigging board. Now with integrated wireless. It really is too nice for playing local pubs. The stagebug tucks in at the rear of the board for emergencies if my amp dies.

  11. @Cornwall Steveheis referring to the original asker of the question my point is that your brothers insight may still inform the topic
  12. Not your brother. The original poster's member profile marks him absent.
  13. Yep I'm not sure what kind of technique you need to make good use of the half fretless thing, but I definitely don't have it.
  14. Why do you say that. Do you know my brother?
  15. I think it was ironic. Tauzero is not a fan of P basses
  16. Sorry, I was on Holiday. @RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE why wouldn't you consider buying a P instead?
  17. Selling my Bass Station 2. A great unit to start your synth keybass journey. In good working condition, aside from two worn small knobs and the frequency knob lost its rubber already. will come with its own padded bag and non oem psu. £230 collected from Aylesbury. Can post for an extra £10 If you are collecting I can sell the speaker stand that I am using for it for an extra £10. Manual is here: https://fael-downloads-prod.focusrite.com/customer/prod/downloads/bass_station_ii_user_guide_4.14_v3_en.pdf

  18. @Cornwall Steve I’m sure the people on this thread would like to know more about the nature of the markings even if the original poster has moved on
  19. @Downunderwonder let’s not discourage a newbie from trying to help out.
  20. It's interesting to me that nobody suggested the Taranis option. I bought one second-hand a few years ago and liked it. It was the made-in-China version and seriously roadworn, but it was well-made and fun to play. I had zero problems with it and only sold it because I have too many basses and wanted another one. It was good to have around and I have a slight twinge of regret occasionally.
  21. He hasn't been visiting since 2020.
  22. Hi Richard Regarding the mystery writing inside the cavity, my brother lived in China close to the Korean border for over a decade teaching English. He is married to a local. They speak several Chinese dialects and understand some Korean. I could forward the writing on to them if you like. They might be able to translate it or at least identify which country the writing originates from ? Cheers, Steve
