  1. Past hour
  2. chorus or flanger effects were very popular in the 1980's also roundwound strings
  3. I love Ibbys (I have a bunch and 2 more incoming) and that one is pretty, but it's not $8k pretty.

  6. (Get A) Grip (On Yourself) - The Stranglers
  7. I also have an early copy of Led Zep II that is of interest to record collectors. It's got a purple lower label, contains different song names and the sleeve artwork is lighter. I'm not really up on it but a couple of friends have made noises and faces at it over the years.
  8. I reckon "There are no marks of using" is gonna sting the craftsman who reliced this beast! GLWTS
  9. I have The Police Sixpack coloured vinyl with incorrect labels on some of them. They're just jumbled up. It never really bothered me as a kid as I never played them as I had the songs on the albums and the original singles. The six pack was always treasured.
  10. I would argue this is one of the best mid sized pedalboards available. Basically a pedaltrain 2 but not as deep. Wheels in the lid with a suitcase style make moving this around a dream. https://www.boss.info/global/products/bcb-1000/ Dual lock will easily come off, I spent 3 days cleaning this of the old velcro and have been unable to commit to it since.
  11. I used this as a very high end practice amp. I would run a bluetooth adaptor into the Aux in and it just sounds great. The mojo control is very unique sounding and can add a huge phatness to your tone. Works great as a DI, headphone amp, IEM mixer, 1/4 in or XLR out of a nice tube DI For more information https://www.cranborne-audio.com/camdenec1

  13. Maybe, it’s currently fighting for it’s life against the Anagram
  14. Yeah that’s the video that convinced me to buy it.
  15. Some more pics
  16. @pantherairsoft afraid not, it’s very much a keeper. I highly recommend it, bit of a learning curve but very capable fuzz/synth. It’s in a couple of my videos on YouTube, mainly just 1 squelchy fuzz I use a fair bit, but it’s killer with an Octaver. I think you’d really enjoy it.
  17. It's what the last Kakapo would have wanted 🥹

  19. Wow that's an early one. My (fretted) serial number is 4081 and that's 1980 too. Sorry to hear you're disillusioned with playing. Good luck with the sale Edit: just realised there's a "1" on the walnut strip, so not quite so early. Still a lovely bass though!
  20. I'm looking to replace the tuners on my ~1980 Yamaha Pulser 400, as the current ones are quite heavy and have a rattle/buzz I can't get rid of. It's a pretty faithful replica of a '72-73 Precision with the big trapezoidal tuners - I ordered some Hipshot 1/2" Ultralites but they were too small and the keys looked hilariously stubby. The Gotoh GB640's seem like they'd fit correctly minus the screw holes (they have the hexagonal 50s-60s plates), but are only available in nickel instead of the '70s chrome. Anyone have experience swapping tuners on a Pulser or actual '70s Fender? And how out of place would nickel Gotohs look on a '70s bass if those are my only option?
