    Great bass this- hard to find in this finish had to import this from Germany. Has just had a professional set up. I have recently picked up a Spector and its the usual one in-one out rule of thumb for me.     Price drop - now 210 Selling this lovely Bitmap in great shape with original box - it's basically mint apart of velcro. These received significant software update last year with additional clipping modes etc. Red Panda has also very convenient web editor for presets. Happy to trade (with price adjustments) for interesting dirt pedals. Bitmap occupies my "loose spot" for additional dirt in pedalboard and I'm just happy to experiment. Basic overdrive I'm covering with Capo. The ones I would love to try are EAE, Damnation Audio, Broughton, Bearfoot, Hiero etc. Would've thrown 3leaf in but what are the chances

    This is a TC BH800 class d amp. You know what it is... I've liked this amp but I'm trying out a new setup and this is no longer needed so... I have a one-in, one-out rule! Used at a gig this week and it delivered really well. It's on for £235 delivered (I don't have the original box but it'll be well packaged), if you want come and try it out first and collect in person I'll take the cost of postage off.     It's a good start. You need experience to be able to do the sharpening by hand but to get the experience you have to have a sharp chisel. It's a very useful hand tool around the house if you do nowt else with it.

    Great bass in good condition, comes with hard case. Short scale. Not a heavy bass. Plays well. Not really any damage to speak of. There’s a little bit at the top of the headstock (photographed) but looks much worse than it actually is. I’ve removed the strap lock pins and replaced them with the originals that were odd when I got it. The case is old but fully function and all the clasps work. Since acquiring four Precisions and eying up another plus also needing a Jazz, it’s become surplus. I have an addiction at the moment. I admit it. There I’ve said it. I also need an original Barefaced Compact 15 and an original Midget 😂😂😂😂 Can post at buyers expense or can be collected from BB22SH Any questions please ask.

    I did indeed and it is a great bass 😁 Its price tag does not reflect how well made it is and how good it sounds either. Both my semi acoustics aren’t being used for the simple reason all my work requires Precisions and something with 22 frets.

    I would say that I would also not usually be a fan... all my other instruments are some version of natural finishes/sunbursts. But for some reason the piano black on the smaller than usual jazz bass body, with the dark rosewood board, mint pick guard... looks excellent! It's also lightweight and plays great! What more could you ask for...

    A first review on bass, looking at just the presets... Maybe just a couple on there that I might be tempted to use e.g. 49 T-Wah, but I suspect the value-add, as with many multis is going to be from creating our own patches.

    Oh, just that deep woolly booming bass, characteristic of the Meatbox. I'd have liked to it be a bit more intuitive! Sucking volume when I turn up Octave is absurd to me - no mention of it in the manual / web page. Having to add Sub to get virtually any octave seems futile. The Octave and Sub knobs might as well be combined into a single knob. I can't even tell whether Octave is any different from Sub (is Sub 2 octaves down?). With Octave at 3pm and Sub at zero, I have virtually no octave. I need to bring Sub to 3pm to get decent octave, hence my comment re combining the 2 knobs. Finally, to basically get the woolly booming bass, I have all 3 knobs at 4pm. Might as well have just one knob. I'm quite disappointed at it's versatility and lack of intuitive controls. I'll play with it a bit more but I suspect it's not going to stay in my gear. For recording, for example, a sub-synth plug-in will do the same.
