Stupid question re: the knobs on a Lakland Bob Glaub

Stupid question time - I've just got hold of a tort pickguard for my Bob Glaub, and came to fit it earlier. However, the volume and tone knobs aren't the usual Fender flat head screwdriver, and I couldn't see what they are. Rather than do my usual trick of blindly stripping a screw head or forcing the knob off (ooer missus), I thought I'd ask what I actually need to do the job properly!

Anyone help? Ta.

The ones on my jerry scheff are splined with no allen screw or similar.

The easiest way to get them of is to put the bowl of two tea spoons opposite one another and under the bottom of the knob and then just push on the handles of the spoons

For stubborn press fit knobs, I slide the edge of a cloth (get that old t-shirt ripped up) underneath the knob, encircle it with the cloth then pull up. Get it right and it'll come right off and won't ping across the room because it's in the cloth.
