Specs: Green body (alder I think) with lovely pickguard Modulus' graphite neck Hipshot 'D' tuner on E string DiMarzio vintage p/ups (you know..the cream high output ones) J-Retro Deluxe pre-amp (installed by John East himself!) eubassix Posted January 3, 2010 Share Posted January 3, 2010 Is this a 'Modulus (VJ) Jazz' ?... with a lot of changes in spec. OR a Jazz body (origin?) + various parts with a Modulus graphite neck? bubinga5 Posted January 3, 2010 Share Posted January 3, 2010 (edited) Modulus do offer a green body in there range... looks like the pups, bridge and pre have been changed, as they would have been a Shaller/Hipshot/ Bart/Aguilar combo..or even Villex in the newer basses.. Its already established that the electronics are not original, is the body itself a modulus body? i.e. is it a bitza bass, or a modded modulus?
