Apart from vague physical similarities (glasses, facial hair, receding hairline? Possible Scandinavian lineage!??!), I'm flattered to be even mentioned in the same breath as Marlowe. The man is a legend of YouTube, whose work I cannot fault. By comparison my playing is sloppy and I butcher my way through the odd cover. I got my first bass 10 years ago as of tomorrow (was in New York for Christmas, it was a very basic Ibanez from Manny's). The video is done in iMovie. The whole thing is done on my crappy old MacBook Pro" I agree, great tone and great playing, but i have a feeling its all in the fingers. Bear in mind, this is probably my 6th gig ever and I'm still pretty nervous, I was just trying to keep it solid, no flair whatsoever! Anyone else find it weird seeing yourself on video? I've noticed that I have this horrible smirk on my face most of the time, stand like a right weirdo and make silly facial gestures to people I know in the crowd?! I must smile more!
