Vester acoustic bass

I have been offered a Vester acoustic bass in a trade for my Ibanez short scale bass.

Does anyone know anything about Vester.

Cheapo instruments, maybe Korean brand, from 90's?

It was indeed a cheap Korean brand that came out in the mid 80's, and lasted through the 90's.

 

Nothing to fancy there, cheap instruments from the bad Korean period.

 

Tried a few at the Musikmesse in Frankfurt back then, but none of them were great.

I have a Vester Catalina P-bass copy. Gigged it a few times way back when, did the job.

If you like the Vester more than your Ibanez, it’s a good trade. Doesn’t matter what is or where it was made!
