Normally 35 when watching with The Wife, but when she's in bed I set it to 31, sometimes 29 or 27 if it's a particularly loud mix. Mark Quote

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are multiples of five, Tuesdays and Thursdays are multiples of four, and the weekend is prime numbers. 1 Quote
itu Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I set the vol of the TV to 0, 3, 6, 9, 12... why on earth I decided to study acoustics? Quote

itu Posted January 7 Posted January 7 It's a Sony, and definitely does not have 3 dB steps in vol. Do I have to turn on my B&K and measure the steps? No no... now you @Stub Mandrel have planted the seed... bugger. 3 Quote
Mottlefeeder Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I set the TV volume at zero, and use the HiFi volume to control the sound level. It does not have numbers. David 1 Quote

David We have a sound bar that's the same. It was great. Until firestick. Now there is off/tooquiet/tooloud .... never been higher than that. It's bloody infuriating. Quote
AinsleyWalker Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) 1) People who post 'collection-only' pedal listings online 🥴 This isn't the noticeboard on your local village green... Sending a pedal via post isn't hard. I've sent 3 this week... I wouldn't sell things anywhere near as quick as I do currently (generally less than a week turnaround) if I refused to arrange delivery. Just denying yourself a sale. 2) People who post very specific job-lots of individually expensive items and refuse to split 🥴 I can understand if the job-lot is cheap, but I've seen a few people post entire pedalboards totalling over £1000... What are the odds someone wants your exact setup lol? Why would you not just sell piecemeal and make the sales? Imagine if you went into a shop and they said sorry you can't buy this single Tshirt, you need to buy an entire pre-chosen wardrobe of clothes.... I genuinely think some people aren't bothered about making the sale, and just want to play shopkeeper on the internets. Edited 2 hours ago by AinsleyWalker 2 1 Quote
