bassben1 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago (edited) Hi, I'm a newbie. Sorry. Lol. Trying to put together a pedal board and it's not working. I'm so frustrated š .Ā This is the equipment I've got:- Schecter evil twin bass guitarĀ Seymour duncan powerstage bass 700 Darkglass dg212nĀ Hx stomp xlĀ Boss chromatic tunerĀ Ampeg opto compĀ Jam red muckĀ Jam rattlerĀ Tc electronic sentry Ckk electronic space station pro ReverbĀ Flattley bass nirvana delay Flattley bass valkyrie chorusĀ Mooer gl 100 Looper Ā The problem I'm having is getting the pedals to work with the hx stomp xl. I can get the hx stomp to work with amp, but the pedals i can barely here at all. I've tried global settings, all combinations. Tried every pedal and cables individually(they all work). I would like my tuner, Compressor, fuzz, distortion before the hx stomp. Has anyone got any ideas what I'm doing wrong. Many thanksĀ Ā Edited 23 hours ago by bassben1 Missed something out Quote
NoirBass Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Start with you bass straight into the amp and then add each pedal individually (one by one) until you recreate the fault. Quote
uncle psychosis Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago If the problem is that you can't hear the external effects at all then it's probably going to be something silly. Ā Check that you are correctly connecting inputs and outputs for starters. Maybe take a photo of everything connected together so we can see what you're doing.Ā Quote
Jack Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Can you post a photo of your setup? What do you mean when you say you cant hear the pedals? As in you can't hear a different whether they're turned on or off? Quote
Gank Bass Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Intrigued to know what else you're using the stomp for! š¤ Ā Sounds like something is plugged in the wrong input? Could you post some photos of your setup to help diagnose? Quote
