Veils Posted March 4 Posted March 4 I placed this order quite some time ago, so long ago in fact that I donāt even have the original email chain with all of the details on it. I did ask Jon to ping the spec back to me so I can share it with everyone, but this beauty arrived today. Itās not the first lavish spec Shuker Iāve owned, so I know how good his work is, but this is quite something. The preamp/pickup combo is fierce, a really biting tone. Soon as I get Jon to send the spec back to me Iāll share! Ā Ā Ā 29 Quote
Dood Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Congratulations!!!!! Wow, thatās a beautiful bass right there!!Ā Quote
Grooverjr Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Very nice. But I think I may need to hand in my BC gun and badge because I just zoomed in to check out the Air Max collection! š 1 1 Quote
eude Posted March 5 Posted March 5 That's a bit tasty! How long did the build take? Can't wait to see the spec too. Congratulations dude. Quote
Veils Posted March 5 Author Posted March 5 (edited) Thanks everyone!Ā Ā I have asked Jon to ping over all the specs we went for, I know the preamp is an East. Neck profile is very slim - I have daft stumpy fingers! Itās super flamey roasted maple and I think thereās some wenge in there as well.Ā Ā The build actually took the best part of three years, but thatās on me - I specifically asked Jon to take his time over it. Iām a contractor and I was trying to spread dividends as much as possible. I think the usual lead time is around 18 months. Edited March 5 by Veils 1 Quote

I have a pretty serious collection - thereās Parraās, both Atmos Elephants (the 2007 OGās and the 2017 reissue), LDNās, HUFās. Iāve got a pretty wild collection of Jordanās, Raygun and Habibi dunks, various Travis Scottās, etcā¦ā¦. 1 Quote

Nice one, you can't go wrong with and East Preamp, and Jon does make very nice slim yet stable necks. Looks like a cracking bass. Quote

Iād do anything to be reunited with it!! I was hard up years ago and had to sell it, not a clue where it is now. Ā Still waiting on Jon confirming specs back to me, soon as he does I will share. Gmail is absolutely terrible for storing sent items, so I canāt find the original email exchange. 2 Quote
mikebass456 Posted March 6 Posted March 6 I had a blue 6 string bound-edged Jazz bass with electric blue fingerboard led markers from Jon that I ended up selling through Bass Direct. If anyone knows where that ended up? š¤ Quote

cocco Posted March 9 Posted March 9 I've recently had Jon build a neck and assemble a P bass for me, it turned out way better than I could have expected. Seeing all these is making me want to get a full build at some point.Ā Quote
