Sounds like you need to add some horns... 🙃

Numbers 10:1-6 King James Version

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.

🫢oh dear I've never taken that as a backhanded 'compliment' the many times I've had that. 🤣

We got "not pish at all" last weekend, which was quietly gratifying. My friend is fond of "you looked like you were really enjoying yourselves up there" when she can't find anything nice to say.

Reminds me of one of the Doctor books by Richard Gordon, when he asks for references and one says "Dr Gordon has worked for me for six months, during which time he has discharged his duties entirely to his own satisfaction".

You have to frame it 😁

I'm a worship leader at a Baptist Church and I love METAL !! 🤘🏼

Counter their scribble with Psalm 33:1-3....

Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous;
    it is fitting for the upright to praise him.
Praise the Lord with the harp;
    make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre.
Sing to him a new song;
    play skillfully, and shout for joy.

I have Psalm 150 "Praise the lord with strings and loud cymbals" on a t-shirt.

I've just had a look on Lyrechat.co.uk and they say that 10 stringed lyres are an abomination; that 8 strings are more than enough.

I once had (and this is verbatim )

"you were really great, you didn't get bottled or nuffink!".

I believe the bible only allows 7, 8 or ideally 10 strings, so rock played with a combination of 4 string and 6 string instruments is clearly an abomination... djent on the other hand...

Somebody should probably let the harp players know they're wasting their time.
