Having seen what these guys put in to the design and construction of their basses, they're definitely worth 7 times a production line assembled Fender. For me, I doubt I would have got my Capone if it was a true headless… as my mental image of headless is 80s cheese that my personal taste doesn’t quite fit with… the faux headstock means I’m quite happy with how it looks and I imagine non musicians don’t even notice the difference. It may not have a use outside of aesthetics, but if you think it suits the bass - I personally love the look of it - it's not pointless.
