Nice! What are the main differences that you're noticing between the EVO IV and the Geezer?

To be honest mate I’ve struggled to compare partly because I didn’t use the abm for long before I got the geezer though tonight I should be able to give it a good thrash ..sorry mate I know that’s no help at all 😂

2023 USA made speaker cabinets

LB 212

anyone know about these?

Tweeterless, were about 350w @ 8 ohm?

I got an RM212 evo2 recently, which has lighter drivers and a tweeter. Sounds fantastic, without the tweeter...

I've just bought an ABM 500W Evo iii - wow, it sounds amazing, why have I waited all these years.

I see I now have to wade through 46 pages of this thread to get up to speed....

Congrats! They are amazing and versatile heads--and generally much underappreciated. I'm an Ampeg tube head guy, but love my ABM (same as yours). One pre tube doesn't replace a head full of tubes, but Ashdown has the best implementation of one tube pre I've ever played. I wish I had bought one years ago.

I love the warm yet articulate clear sound you get. I have played the newest version ABM evo. It’s just beautiful. My Yamaha pulser pbass with chromes sound amazing at any volume level. Top top amp

The only reason why I’m probably going to get a Aguilar tone hammer is the size. It will be for home use for the time being.

This EQ is rather insane. I love me a 800hz boost but when I’ve boosted the 660hz mids on my p bass it’s still adds clarity.
