Roscoe Century 4 Fretless.

I'm thinning the herd so this beauty has got to go. It's a stunning bass with a beautiful birdseye/flame maple neck that many 'rays of this era are known for. This bass also had a fret level and set up by John Shuker last year.
It comes with a hard case which I believe is original. It's not one of the Musicman moulded cases, but I've been informed that it's a SKB which were used along with the G&G cases around this era. It's certainly made for a Stingray as the inner moulding at the headstock has the lower cut-out for the G tuner.
Manufactured 29th October 1992
Maple neck with Rosewood board
Translucent Teal finish
Matt black/white/black plate
Metal battery cover
'Off-set' string entry type bridge with mutes
6 bolt neck plate
Weight 9lb 13oz
Neck width at nut 43mm
It's in wonderful condition with only a couple of indentations to the finish on the body (nothing at all that has gone through the finish).
I'll try to capture these and add photos later. EDIT - Photos added showing the worst bruises I can capture. As you can see, they take nothing away from the bass. I'm just trying to be thorough.
Collection or meet up only on this at present as I'm short of packaging materials. I am however willing to drive a fair distance for a motorway services rendezvous!
Not interested in any trades at this time thank you.

Lovely, lovely little fretless here, made by Vintage, however I cant find any model number info anywhere on the bass, if you know let me know (mystery solved - its a V940)
Active circuitry, fitted with some unknown black flatwounds, it plays incredibly well. Knobs are master vol, pick up select, and bass and treble active pots, giving this a fairly broad tonal palette.
Condition wise, very very good, I cant find any dings on it. The main body wood is some sort of bubinga/wenge type, with an open grain, but not as deep as wenge so I don't think its that. Weight is 4.2kg according to my bathroom scales.
In summary, a really nice bass. Only reason this is being let go is I have too many fretlii as it is. Collection much preferred, although I do get around the country a bit with my various works, so could possibly bring somewhere near to you.
Beautiful Overwater fretless bass, custom made for the original owner around 2005.
The bass has a stunning quilted maple top and a nice green/blue burst finish. The fretboard is made of ebony. It's an active bass.
There are several cosmetic damages to be found around the bass; dents, scratches, missing paint chips; battle scars. The fretboard shows signs of use but is definitely in very good condition. All hardware and electronics function like they should. The bass plays very well and has plenty of the mwah you want from a decent fretless.
An original, high quality Overwater gigbag/softcase is included.
I am located in the Netherlands, but happy to ship at buyers risk (insured, well packed)
