New piece of wood

Some new Sandberg VM4 love.

NBD is always a great day.

Wasn't really sure 100% about the burst, but it's doing it for me.

Ooh that's perdy!

I want some blackcurrant and licorice sweets now.

Is it textured or smooth like glass?

The second picture looks smooth but the grain in the first picture just looks so deep, like when they're sandblasted.

Sandberg has it as a Matt- burst finish , but yes it is deep but smooth , you can still see the grain. I think the black makes it look deeper.

The first photo was taken in direct sunlight and the 2nd in the shade.

That’s a bloody big rock to have in your garden.  Is there a Viking king under there or something?

It's a meteorite, not a headstone.

Nice Sandberg, btw!

Great Basses.  You can do anything with one of those.  They even put the "precision" pickup the right way round!
