Yes indeedie, For £1500 pounds or I may consider trades/cash for something fretless with 4 strings

Thanks for the interest
Not trying to be difficult but, unless I'm reading the posts incorrectly then this bass looks like it's gone up in price by £250 in the past month?

Possibly just in the Midlands?

Could be a regional variation fluctuation?

Rest of UK sees prices falling but Birmingham bucks the trend. . .

Well spotted guys, Indeed I have put the price up. I'm sure you are aware the true value of this bass is well above 2 grand. I origonally invited offers of over £1250 but had a load of timewasters offering between 900 and 1200!!!!

hopefully this will help me avoid having to deal with tyre kickers

I guess the problem is by asking for "offers over" - as a seasoned buyer and seller, I'm used to someone naming a price and then beating them down, rather than someone seemingly naming the lowest price they'd sell for and then working up. For me, it doesn't work - and clearly that's the case here.

I was one of the 'timewasters' who I believe (if I remembered righty) offerred you around £1100.

I don't think that's too bad for an undesirably coloured jazz, and in this market where the value of all instruments is falling, sometimes cash is king. And what do you lose by offering? Nowt :-)

Good luck with the sale however.
