£400..... Up for sale is my German made Warwick corvette fna.....this model was only made for two years i believe and was originally called the "altus" bass but Warwick had to change the name, for what reason, i don't know !!....Anyway, i suppose it was Warwick's version of the stingray, although it doesn't sound exactly like one, it has elements of, but has a more low mid push and kicks like a mule!

The abalone dot inlays were installed by northeast luthier Alan Brason  and to me take the bareness off the neck.....the bass was factory fitted with the Seymour Duncan tone circuit which includes the slap contour (pull up on volume pot)......the standard mec pickup has been upgraded to the Seymour Duncan smd 4d........the bass is in good condition but does have a few chips and dents here and there.....bass has a great action and plays really well....Oh, the neck is the preferred three piece wenge neck and finger board.....Have case and happy to ship, uk onlyl.....did my best with the pics, but light not too good.

Could be interested in trades....

Wow...

I'm not normally a Warwick fan but this seems like a lot of bass for the money to me.. And that's a fab colour! 😊

Mark's a long standing Basschatters and a great guy to deal with too, so deal with him in complete confidence.

The commonly told story on the name. After a naming competition in a bass magazine on the new Warwick bass, a violin maker also named altus threatened legal action. This was after Warwick spent money on advertising. So it become the Warwick F.N.A. Formerly named altus or apparently in the Warwick factory F***ing not altus.

These have fairly thin necks if im right?

Bass looks really nice! No spare funds unfortunately.
