jrixn1
Firecreek 5-string P bass For sale: [s]£520[/s] Edit: NOW SOLD No trades, thanks. This unique bass first went on sale here by its builder Dave Wilson in February 2015: http://basschat.co.u...ng-p-bass-sold/ Photos here: https://drive.google...emFHTTUzNWtsZ3c Specifications as originally provided: - 34” scale - 19mm string spacing at bridge - 9mm string spacing at nut - 21 frets - 12” board radius - Absolutely stunning flame ash body, super rare in this quality - 5 piece hard rock maple neck with black accents, perfectly quarter sawn - Padouk fretboard, very similar to rosewood just a bit more red - Oil and wax finish on the body - Spirit finish on the neck, feels so good like bare wood but protected - Nordstand NP5 pickup - Russian NOS PIO cap - Alpha pots - 4.8kg I found this bass to be resonant and with powerful output for a passive instrument. Currently strung with Fender 9050-5M flatwounds. There is just one small thing to note: in order to intonate the bass with flatwounds, the saddles needed to be set quite far back, so I removed some of the adjuster screws/springs. This is not a practical problem in any way, as the string pressure holds the saddles firmly in place. The loose screws/springs will be included. Price includes a used hardcase and shipping within UK.
