goblin Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 (edited) I never thought I'd see the day, but I've decided that I'm going to sell my Warwick Infinity. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it, I've just got my eyes on something else, which I'd have to shift this on to pay for. So, about the bass. Made in 2006, Ovangkol wings with an AAAA birdseye maple cap, and 7 piece through neck. The electronics are the MEC three band EQ, with single coil and humbucker, which can also be split. It also has an ebony fretboard with stainless steel frets. Condition wise - it's in very very good used condition. It has some buckle rash as you'd expect from a working bass, but there's no chips or dents etc. Tt was originally an oil finish until about November 2015, when I had it professionally clear coated by Brian Eastwood (if you haven't heard of him, look him up). It wasn't a cheap job, but it's not a cheap bass. Whilst it was in, I also had the hateful barrel jack replaced with a proper, locking jack from Neutrik. The nut was also replaced with a Just A Nut III brass. This work was all done just before I jetted off to the other side of the pond, where it endured two months of solid playing, for around three hours a night minimum, 7 days a week. It never missed a beat, I never had to get the other bass if something had gone wrong on it, and it's worked very hard ever since and has never let me down. The build quality is absolutely impeccable. It comes with it's original issue flight case and the handbook pack from new. I'm based in Rochdale, North Manchester and collection is preferred, though if buyer covers shipping, I'm willing to package up properly and ship fully insured to the full value of the instrument. funkyjimbob Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 I have owned a lot of Warwicks in my time (currently have a custom shop Infinity) and can quite safely say these are the best of the bunch and worth every penny. It's a shame I don't have the funds at the moment. Have a bump on me
DiMarco Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 (edited) Strange looking bridge saddle setup. Why are the B and E string saddles much lower then the rest? Edited May 20, 2017 by DiMarco
goblin Posted May 21, 2017 Author Posted May 21, 2017 It was set like that to give a bit of radius to the setup, so it wasn't entirely flat. All down to preference. I'm pretty sure it's quite flat now on the recently setup though!
goblin Posted May 22, 2017 Author Posted May 22, 2017 And here comes the "I need new IEM moulds so make me an offer" bump
