[/quote] More like random memories and observations. I moved it on some while back and have no inclination to get another. But, if you like cool-looking, heavy, wide-necked and well-made basses with a weedy tone then I guess it is a recommendation! One issue with mine and I think the model in general is that a good deal of the bridge is made from Perspex which became brittle with age. [/quote] There's an article and picture about Philip Moxham here - looks like he'd chopped the top horn off the 40/40 to get rid of some of the weight!
