Im glad you finally have two basses you are happy with, and at the end of the day, thats main thing. Fantastic basses, mate I just wish I got to see the JO5's before they went. But the 2 you have now are stunning, that Nordstand in the Sterling is a bit hot!!! Top quality basses one and all, and I've played quite a few of them. I wish I still had the Marcus, I miss that a lot. The current MMs look fantastic, and I know how awesome that Nordstrand sounds. The Nordstrand is a beast alright giving the Sterling a much higher output than the Ray and the range of tones is immense. Definitely a worthy upgrade IMHO. For the moment though, these two float my boat and d'ya know what I think they will for some time to come - here's hoping.
