Nice track Garry! Really top notch production. Out of interest where do you get your sounds from? They're ace.

Thanks mate - just had a listen to your track, some great ideas there and well played.

I tend to use Kontakt 5 and it's library, plus some add on lib's from Project Sam [Symphobia, Symphobia 2 & True Strike]
Pop/Jazz brass is Quantum Leap Brass for Kontakt.
For Drums and Percussion, all done in Stylus RMX [which is a great bit of software - ton's of expansions for it at reasonable prices]
Synth wise [Just 2 main] Cakewalk Z3TA and Omnisphere,

Another interesting track from you Skol, you come up with some great ideas.
I have only listened to yours and Nigel's, and both are great takes on 'those' pictures.
Will listen to everyone's tracks once they are all linked together.

great jobs paul and garry. love these two songs, too.
there is so much creativity and crafmanship on this board. I am happy to be a part of it.

one of you guys will enjoy a new bass soon! :)

yeah, good luck everyone, I've not had the opportunity to listen to all the tunes yet, I'll hopefully be able to do so this week when we have a list with them all on. I'm already looking forward to next months picture :)

When does voting start?

I was hoping to get an entry in for this. I had some ideas worked out and was going to rope Mr Venom in to do a guest vocal. Unfortunately earlier in the month my mixing desk decided to stop being a mixing desk and turn into a £3500 door stop instead... :-(

I had to remaster mine after giving it a blast on the hifi, way too much rogue low end and the final section was too quiet so a bit of automation later and it sounds fine. By god I've learned some sh*t this morning!

Charic, please use this version, thank you! http://soundcloud.co...h-me-now-or-the Although I have changed the link in my original post so you'll have the right one anyway.

Unfortunately with no functioning mixing desk I don't have a usable recording set up at the moment.

Good luck to who got something done. I'm saving listening to everyone's entries until the official voting thread starts.

That's such a damn shame Mike :( I'd almost want you to win so I could see what bass design you came up with! :D

Looking forward to getting time to listen to everyone's tracks. Should be able to next week. :)

I've been a bit on the busy side this past couple of weeks & never managed to get anything completed (not even worth entering what I've done).
A shame, because I had some great ideas & just didn't have the tools to do it quickly with the limited time that I've had.
Looking forward to next week's though.

Best of luck everyone. :D
