Funny I often have the opposite experiance nowadays when looking for a band, at the wrong end of 40 I'm normally thought of as too old! lol Onwards and upwards as has been suggested. It's good that there are no hard feelings. You never know how things will work out with the guy they've taken on. So keep in touch with them and one day they might be knocking at your door.
