Ooh even if they cost the same in £s as they do $s they'll be tempting. Add a preamp to that P and you could have a 2xHH 'Ray/G&L L2000 killer on your hands.

I'm no expert, particularly not with Fenders, but I can't imagine the Mexico factory is much behind the USA one in this day and age in terms of anything other than the wages they pay their workers! I wouldn't be surprised if the equipment used to make USA Fenders a decade ago is now in full use in the MIM factory.
