Vibrating G String Posted June 18, 2011 Share Posted June 18, 2011 Well that does totally change the look. More like the Decade model and even farther from the Jazz. I can't really tell the difference between 34 and 35 when playing it usually comes up ten minutes into playing one from the owner rather than the feel. I think some people get the impression the inch extra is all at the first fret, In reality the position of the body on your knee when sitting will change it more if like me you shuffle around when practicing. I don't know what Lakland are up to at the moment and when they'll get the equivalent DJ model back into their lineup but if they did more instruments like this I'd definitely buy one. Different strokes and all that. I bet they sound terrific but I find myself being reminded of Fender's efforts with the FMT Jazz's and they didn't do it for me at all.
