Hi all my band are just starting to advertise now with a couple of very rough versions of the songs (mostly midi and still no vox) but opinions are still more than welcomed and if your interested in following us I will be updating the page regularly:

Sounding nice dude! Up my street as I like a bit of arch enemy, at the gates and amon amarth. "The divine misanthropy" reminds of some children of bodom songs (the older stuff). Keep up the good work.

Can't help some self promotion while here:

We should have some songs up on Myspace soon as we are putting the finishing touches to them: http://www.myspace.com/terminalpsychosisuk

Quality stuff. If you get a vocalist, please don't go for one that sings like a thrasher but rather maybe someone with a more soul or blues style of character (nothing wrong with a bit of thrash, but it would make your stuff sound like another thrash band, albeit a very good one).

Drummer? One with an electronic kit?

I saw a band called Ratatat a few years back in the states & they used a drum machine & put on an excellent show.
Thanks for the kind comments, we're not actually looking to add human drums. However we are going through new samples and the like.

I have to admit its going to make things difficult live :)
Why difficult live? Just program what the drummer can actually play :/

Just the thought of a relentless drummer who carries on regardless of what's happening in the band...

Hold on that's normal isn't it?!

In all fairness its more the technical aspect, do we get a drum machine? Use a laptop? (currently none of us own a laptop Upto the job reliably) a cd? My digital mixing desk etc etc....

It's going to be an adventure :)

In a month or so well be holding a large rehearsal and get a few bods along for honest opinions. If anyone is interested in popping along drop me a pm :)

If it helps I'm just using my guitarists description. It's actually what he usually calls melodic death metal but when i wrote the topic I was abroad and on my mobile. Having heard him call it melodeath metal I used that.

I'm actually incredibly ignorant to genre titles tbh. To most people I just say I play metal then list a few of our influences :-)
