Bassassin
Very good - not seen anyone attempt that classic fee-dodge for a while. Surprised it's not been pulled already. Jon.

Surprised it's not been pulled already. Jon.[/quote] It used to get pulled fairly often. Then ebay changed their T&C's to say that postage had to be reasonable (though some people's definition of reasonable seems to differ from mine). It'll be interesting to see if this makes it to the end and if anyone actually buys it.
noirpunk
I wonder what would happen if I clicked buy it now and then if he refused pickup I complained to ebay? Surely once I've bought it he's obligated to sell it to me for the final price minus the technically optional postage...
Maverick
The formation of contract via ebay is always an iffy area, but he does state in the listing 'POSTAGE ONLY!!!! NO PICKUP!!!', so you'd probably be said to have agreed to that term by bidding. Possibly.
noirpunk
Yeah it's a total grey area I suppose. My previous post was pure hypothesis, that said I wouldn't mind a set of EMG pickups for £2 ha!

I don't think you would get the guitar but he would loose his account if he persists. I think it will get pulled. Blademan

Blademan_98
Somebody must have been happy to pay £550 postage as the BIN has been activated! I would love to see the chaps face if they turn up on his doorstep!
spinynorman
He's done it before and appears to have got away with it. Hutton
If this auction has been reported and is obviously trying to work a flanker then why hasn't ebay pulled it?
