1. A post pathetic Christmas bump! With an updated trade list. Also, would anyone be interested in a straight cash deal?
 2. A Boss RC-50.
 3.
Been looking at the Status site, but it would kill me to buy them.
Order a set when your pissed next!
 4. I'm only 19 and unlike most guys on here, I actually have a back which isn't buggered from some ancient injury, but picking up just 1 Eden XLT 4x10 was horrific, and my room is up 2 flights of stairs, and I had 2 XLT's, let's just say they went up those stairs once, and stayed there until they bought by someone else.
 5.
Why? Say more....
I bought a whole Eden rig ( 2 x XLT 4x10's and WT550) after reading countless reveiws and seeing and hearing various recordings of that very set up in action and was always impressed. To my ear it was the pure Gospel bass tone, Warm, Hi-Fi and sits above the mix with authority. Both my cabs were in great condition and had no faults at all, and the head worked perfectly. At that time I was playing a 1999 Warwick Thumb BO (All wenge neck) and a 1990 Streamer Stage 1 (Modded with Nords), so already being pretty damn growly basses I was hoping for them to go with the rig perfectly. Boy was I wrong. After figuring out all of the pull/push business (Which needs to be done everytime you switch the thing on!) I finally managed to change the EQ, every time I tried I could not achieve a sound remotely near what I had hoped. The only useable tone I got was a very farty like growl and that was only at the lowest volume, turning it up just made it become muddy and very harsh. The treble had no Hi-Fi qaulities to it at all, they just added to the harshness. The head was not able to drive the horns in either cab, both alone and together. I tried 2 new sets of strings on both basses to see if that might of been the reason, but it didn't make any signifcant difference at all. I stuck with the head for a few months, in which I tried a few varied jams and I just got more and more irritated with it until I traded it for an EBS TD 650. As soon as I hooked up the TD650 to the cabs the horns actually made their presence known and the warmth was right there, the Hi-Fi zing I was looking also was now much more apparent and basically the tone I had hoped for from the 550 was just oozing out of the EBS, and the clairty and volume were a major improvement as well. Basically the 550 was a huge let down for me, it might of been a duff one but ultimatley it put me off Eden gear.
 6.
You mean god?
Don't be a twat!
 7.
I may have mentioned before that I dont understand Eden's approach with superlight amps and heavy cabs. Like Josh I would suggest trying EBS or maybe Genz Benz.
The WT 550 is suprisingly heavy for its size.
 8.
Never have, never will. How long would I last ?
Actually, I think you'd give them a very good run for their money, they'd love your almost Southern style hostility, that is, until you finally cross the line and say something about their imaginary playmate.

 10. I went from an Eden WT550 due to lack of warmth/zing/clarity/volume to an EBS TD 650, and I are rather happy with it .
 11.
So, the TD650 arrived yesterday. All I can say is that this amp is bloody loud and bloody heavy.
I don't know why everyone thinks their bloody heavy, try most of Ampegs bigger heads for weight and less impressive tone as well. If anything, to me the 650 weighs the same as 2 Eden WT 550's.
 12.
If you don't want to talk about religion (or anything else) its fairly simple to avoid it.
Thats all well and good and luckily, on here we haven't got threads or anything similar to the likes of what they have on there. But I've read through so many threads on there which aren't even tied in with Gospel or anything and then a delluded peon has to come and bring Religion into it and then they all start chipping in. It is avoidable sometimes, but alot of the times it's lurking. On the whole, TB is a very Religious forum and thats purely from the way our countries both approach it. The TB mods seem to endorse Religion, whereas, our mods respect the fact that in England, Religion is more of a sensitive subject and should at best try to be avoided because it has nothing much to with bass playing, besides Church gigs of course, which is completely agreeable and everyone just trots along. It does come up on here from time to time as you've seen yourself, but it's more or less always a debate and is usually kept within the bounds of sensible discussion. I enjoy the debate when they arise, though I'm getting a little tired of tip-toeing over it. Anyways, pushing this thread back onto the right tracks, I did a nice 30 mintues worth of gawping at some georgous Roscoes.
 13.
Sometimes I have imagined trying to set up the TB 'Agnostics, Atheists, and other [s]Troublemakers[/s]Sceptics Club'. Or even the 'I Own a Bass Club'. Of course [s]we are[/s] I am never pious and deluded.
They seemingly start clubs over anything and everything, a classic American sentiment. Whereas on here, what we've got, well there are: Those with Shukers. Those without Shukers. Pencil Lead Fever! A loose association of bastards. & Bilbo's Jazz Appreication Society. (Population: 1) And thats really about it .
 14.
IMO and having read quite a lot of stuff on there, it does in places have a slighly sanctimonious 'Christian' ethic about it that to a godless/pagan/aetheist like me is a bit too much to deal with on a regular basis..
The Christian Praise & Worship Club!! So talented but ohhh so pious and delluded. It's a damn shame.
 15. As a previous owner of both a Thumb bass and an Eden Wt550, I would strongly advise you don't go for the 550.
 16.
There's a lot of religion but science books in america contain a paragraph that states even though science has proven the theory of evolution, the story of adam and eve is still true. Or words to that effect.
Thank the Evangelicals and Creationists for that. Though I am intriguied as to where they ascertained their evidence. Just been on there to look for some info, it really isn't the most welcoming site, espeically compared to this one.
 17. It's ok, though you are seemingly ignored most of the time, plus Religion is all the rage on there, so much so it's sickening and also it's just generally way too clique-esque for my liking.
 18. Right, for some reason I'm starting to gravitate towards the world of Laklands. So any US Joe Osbourne 4/5 strings, 4-94 or 55-94 are also welcome as good trade bait ^_^ .
 19.
i\'m not in th UK, i\'m in HK right now.... john
Ahh ha, if your in Hong Kong, then this must be the very bass thats in action in these videos right here:
