How long would I last ?
Actually, I think you'd give them a very good run for their money, they'd love your almost Southern style hostility, that is, until you finally cross the line and say something about their imaginary playmate.
Mark King Wannabe?
Can I hug you Ferret?
 3. I went from an Eden WT550 due to lack of warmth/zing/clarity/volume to an EBS TD 650, and I are rather happy with it .
 4.
So, the TD650 arrived yesterday. All I can say is that this amp is bloody loud and bloody heavy.
I don't know why everyone thinks their bloody heavy, try most of Ampegs bigger heads for weight and less impressive tone as well. If anything, to me the 650 weighs the same as 2 Eden WT 550's.
 5.
If you don't want to talk about religion (or anything else) its fairly simple to avoid it.
Thats all well and good and luckily, on here we haven't got threads or anything similar to the likes of what they have on there. But I've read through so many threads on there which aren't even tied in with Gospel or anything and then a delluded peon has to come and bring Religion into it and then they all start chipping in. It is avoidable sometimes, but alot of the times it's lurking. On the whole, TB is a very Religious forum and thats purely from the way our countries both approach it. The TB mods seem to endorse Religion, whereas, our mods respect the fact that in England, Religion is more of a sensitive subject and should at best try to be avoided because it has nothing much to with bass playing, besides Church gigs of course, which is completely agreeable and everyone just trots along. It does come up on here from time to time as you've seen yourself, but it's more or less always a debate and is usually kept within the bounds of sensible discussion. I enjoy the debate when they arise, though I'm getting a little tired of tip-toeing over it. Anyways, pushing this thread back onto the right tracks, I did a nice 30 mintues worth of gawping at some georgous Roscoes.
 6.
Sometimes I have imagined trying to set up the TB 'Agnostics, Atheists, and other [s]Troublemakers[/s]Sceptics Club'. Or even the 'I Own a Bass Club'. Of course [s]we are[/s] I am never pious and deluded.
They seemingly start clubs over anything and everything, a classic American sentiment. Whereas on here, what we've got, well there are: Those with Shukers. Those without Shukers. Pencil Lead Fever! A loose association of bastards. & Bilbo's Jazz Appreication Society. (Population: 1) And thats really about it .
 7.
IMO and having read quite a lot of stuff on there, it does in places have a slighly sanctimonious 'Christian' ethic about it that to a godless/pagan/aetheist like me is a bit too much to deal with on a regular basis..
The Christian Praise & Worship Club!! So talented but ohhh so pious and delluded. It's a damn shame.
 8. As a previous owner of both a Thumb bass and an Eden Wt550, I would strongly advise you don't go for the 550.
 9.
There's a lot of religion but science books in america contain a paragraph that states even though science has proven the theory of evolution, the story of adam and eve is still true. Or words to that effect.
Thank the Evangelicals and Creationists for that. Though I am intriguied as to where they ascertained their evidence. Just been on there to look for some info, it really isn't the most welcoming site, espeically compared to this one.
 10. It's ok, though you are seemingly ignored most of the time, plus Religion is all the rage on there, so much so it's sickening and also it's just generally way too clique-esque for my liking.
 11. Right, for some reason I'm starting to gravitate towards the world of Laklands. So any US Joe Osbourne 4/5 strings, 4-94 or 55-94 are also welcome as good trade bait ^_^ .
 12.
i\'m not in th UK, i\'m in HK right now.... john
Ahh ha, if your in Hong Kong, then this must be the very bass thats in action in these videos right here:
 13.
That maybe so............but i use garlic!
With or without the bread??
 14.
Nope!
God damn you!
 15. Gahhhh! Thats not helping. Fancy a MTD 635?
 16. P-Basses. Bongos. Stingrays and Sterlings. Rickenbackers. Steinbergers. Wals. SG/ Explorer/ Les Paul. Gibson Rippers. Corvettes. Strykers. Vampyres. Katanas. Dolphins. Ibanez BTB's & Art Cores. P-Basses... B.C. Riches. Ritters. Guilds.
 17.
Never mind eh? Suprised this bass is still here, it's stunning!
Well unfortunatley I'm being a bit too specific .
 18.
It's a 20th anniverary corvette, sorry!
Dang it!
 19.
my garage and my rigs for all occasions
In the Garden of Eden baby!!
 20.
Wish I had one I do have a nice high end limited edition Warwick though
Please say it's not a Corvette or any of the unsightly Warwicks? If it's a Thumb or Streamer then colour me interested .
 21.
A Warwick, really? Blimey, I'd always assumed it was his Mouradian. Maybe he just kept that for the videos?
I thought he played a Spector?
 22.
Younger... YOUNGER! Blasphemy. Can't do nowt about the bridge but heck I'd swap the original MECs out of my SSII for these EMGs any day.
Blame Ryan Martinie for my liking of Warwicks Post 1999, and blame him and Mudvaynes new album for making me want one again.
 23.
Go on Josh you know I have a Thumb that you 'need'.
If it was was younger and had a normal Warwick bridge and MEC's I'd think about it .
 24. The timing of this thread isn't ideal, especially when I'm pining for another Warwick, I miss them
 25. Bump. Any nice high end 5 string Jazzers anyone wants to trade?
