1. I'm selling a P retro (never been fitted) which I bought back in June on here from Bigwan. Never got round to installing and haven't needed it so moving it on to a better home! Looking to get back what I paid for it so £120 plus postage or collection from Leighton Buzzard Dave
2. Well spotted Mike, pure typo (also on the copy job later on) will edit ASAP! Dave
3. I have a spare set of TI jazz flats for sale, barely used - strung for a VERY short time on a P bass. I managed to accrue quite a few sets at some point for some reason - now I don't use them on anything! The silks on the strings are as new pretty much, no tears or anything, they will come in the TI plastic box, but I must have thrown away the individual envelopes so they are in GHS ones instead! I've had this weird string obsession recently (which I might start a separate topic on) so expect to see some more barely used strings for sale soon!! £26 inc delivery Dave
4. Have a set of barely used La Bella quarter round strings for sale. Never gigged, Spent about 2 hours total on a bass but just couldn't get on with them myself - went back to my beloved flats! Cut for a P bass so should fit pretty much any bass. For those who don't know about them they are slightly smoother than round wounds and have quite a flat wound sound to them but without loosing too much 'zing'. In my opinion I would say they were slightly closer to a flat that something like the GHS pressure wound. [s]£20 inc delivery[/s] £18 inc delivery Dave
5. I have to admit it's quite tricky to pick out certain parts of kid Charlemagne as the bass is a bit muffled in parts even though it's such an intricate part! And yes big love for Chuck Rainey...expect more of his lines to appear there soon! 👍
6. Hi guys, just added a new transcriptions page to my website, would love you to check it out and offer any feedback if you have any. I tend to only transcribe tunes I consider to be either interesting or challenging - don't tend to do the ones that you can pick out easily by ear! I also try and only do lines I've not been able to find online (I know it's not the case with all of these) Anyway have a look, I'm starting to do more and more now so will continue to update it http://daveevansmusic.co.uk/Transcriptions.html Dave
7. Here are my 3 precisions top to bottom: Lakland LOG 5 string P '89 fender Japan 62 reissue (nice Aguilar pups) '75 fender P (my newest edition) 👍 All hail the P bass!!
8. I bought a 75 P bass from Chris, picked it up today. Super easy to deal with and lovely bloke! Cheers Chris!

10. Have you got a weight for this? It's a beaut, lovely sunburst!
11. Stoney I wouldn't bet on many other stingrays being sold for this kind of price! 🙈
12. Sold pending the usual....
13. Just to clarify on this once more, I am not offering postage on this, collection only or local meet up. I am completely regretting putting this up already but hopefully it'll go to a good home and get the use it deserves!.... In response to a question, the frets are in good condition, essentially as you'd expect for an instrument this age. Loads of life left in them Dave
