1. 2 sets of as new strings for sale Firstly a set of TI jazz flats - JF344. Used once on my p bass, great sound, just not for me.....I have the box but not the individual packets, but its easy to tell which is which!....great price if you want to try these but not fork out £50! £32 posted Secondly a set of GHS pressurewound string medium light gauge - another part of my great strings experiment - these are smooth to the touch but still have a bit of bite, couple steps down from a nickelwound I think. Agin dont have the original packing so will be sent loose. £14 posted Dave

4. Damn it if someone would just buy my 51 p bass I'd have this!!!
5. For sale is my GB shuttle 6.0 head. As I'm sure you all know it's a really great piece of kit, however I am mostly using my P bass these days and I'm just after something a little warmer in character. Ironically the Genz has too much clarity for me right now! The amp had a new power module fitted by Fender GBS about 14 months ago, it is now in perfect working order. I have the paperwork for this. Couple of surface scratches where the amp has been racked. These are not visible when racked. Included with the sale are the rack ears for it and a soft GB carry case which has a little wear but is fully usable. £280 collected. Happy to post at buyers expense. For £335 I will also include an SKB 3U shallow rack! I'm in Berkhamsted (Herts)... Would trade for an Aguilar head with cash your way if necessary Dave
6. GHS pressure wounds also have black silk. They feel especially nice to play!
7.
If you are on a budget, there is a guy on E bay who sells Mighty Mite necks, licenced by Fender, with a Fender logo for around the £100 mark.
+1 to this. I bought a neck from him for a jazz I built and it was great quality , smooth frets Nd very sturdy...he can also do them without the decal if u like...they are all satin finished though, so not ideal if you want a vintage vibe
8. Hey guys, not sure if this is strictly the place to put it but just wanted to give you a heads up as I know people are often after new transcriptions on here, I had a quiet night last night and transcribed 'Good Love is on the Way' from the John Mayer Trio live album - the outstanding Pino on bass.... And now I have just finished doing 'Who Did You Think I Was' from the same record....I learn so much from transcribing this guy...He is like a gold mine of useful and tasteful ideas! Check them out, feel free to use them! https://www.daveevansbass.com/transcriptions Dave
