  4. For sale is my excellent Aguilar Tone Hammer 500. I think everyone knows what these are about so no need to waffle! Only reason for selling is I’m getting the AG700. specs here: https://www.aguilaramp.com/bass-amps/tone-hammer-500/ condition is literally as new, owned for 3 years, always kept in a flight case (not included) no cosmetic marks that I can find at all. sticker on top is from being PAT tested last year, pick holder will be removed. no case included so collection preferred but can arrange postage at buyers expense. collection can be from Berkhamsted, Leighton Buzzard or Milton Keynes. These have shot up in price so get one as new but with around 40% off! Now £485
  5. For sale is this now discontinued (I think) SKB 2U moulded shallow rack case. Been in storage for a while so not in mint condition by any means. Comes with a bag of bits to connect up whichever amp head you’re using. Max depth is 26cm behind the mounting rail. Collection from Berkhamsted (herts) or postage at buyers expense. £35 £30 Collected or £35 posted. thanks!
  6. For sale is this pair of Yamaha studio monitors, which, as I’ve had to get rid of my bigger home studio I now have no use for... both in perfect working order, only small blemish is that the cover has bubbled a little bit around the cone - no effect on the sound. sound on sound review here: https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.soundonsound.com/reviews/yamaha-hs80m%3famp would rather sort collection or meet as they are quite big. Collection can be from Berkhamsted in Herts, or Leighton Buzzard or Milton Keynes. Postage would be at buyers expense. £285 for the pair Thanks
  7. So I've been asked to do a promo shoot for KIA next Monday which involves us driving around playing songs in one of their cars, however I'm struggling for power solutions for my amp! I have a small speaker but it would need to be mains powered. I'm using a uke bass so can't manage acoustically. Massive ask I know but just wondering if anyone in the Herts/Beds area would be willing to lend me one for it? Like a PJB briefcase or something?! Obviously I'm happy to leave a deposit or whatever you would want - I know it's an unusual ask so happy to play it by ear! Let me know if anyone can help! Dave
  8. For sale I have 2 practically brand new Hot Covers speaker covers made for Aguilar SL112's. Arrived in December (17) but having not got on with the cabs I'm moving these on too. Made with 600D canvas and 10mm of good padding all around. £45 plus postage for the pair or £25 each. Can be collected if you prefer from HP4 1JZ Thanks Dave
  9. So I got rid of my Aguilar DB112's at the end of last year (sadly tbh) and am now left with the flight cases I had made for them. So, for sale I have 2 Ultrasonics Audio custom built flight cases, with removable casters. Internal dimensions are W20 x D20 x H15. Could easily house SL112’s as well The flight cases were quite extensively toured for a couple of years so they are by no means mint, but obviously still in excellent working order. £230 £150 NOW £65 FOR THE PAIR!!!or £125 £80 £35 each. Collection only on these from Berkhamsted, Leighton Buzzard or a meet close by to one of these. OPEN TO OFFERS! Pics now added Dave
  10. Hi all, I have 2 unopened sets of Ernie Ball regular slinky 45-130 strings. £40 £35 for both sets or £20 each (inc postage to U.K.) Dave
  11. Regrettably I'm selling both of my Aguilar DB112 cabs (both with tweeter). I love these cabs and they have served me well for 3 years and never let me down, however progressive back problems mean I need to switch to something lighter. These have a big warm low mid punch (especially paired with the TH500) and have stood their own on some big stages (Hammersmith Apollo, Birmingham Symphony Hall etc). The cabs weigh about 20kg each but I think that plays a part in the tone you get from them. They have always travelled either in the Aguilar covers or in flight cases so although they are travelled they are in almost as new condition. 2 or 3 small tears in the tolex underneath the cabs and a small scratch on one of the Aguilar badges. Other than that these are in fantastic condition. Due to increases in import duty these cabs now retail new between £650 and £700 each so when you add in the covers you are basically getting a buy one get one free deal here for some awesome cabs!! Ideally I'd like them to go as a pair, including the covers, which would be £850 you want to split they will be £440 each. Collection from LU7 or meet within reasonable distance. email me at [email protected] Thanks for looking! Dave
  12. Thanks MrProud! It is a tricky one as it sounds so good! Will keep it up here but might get it out the case again to see if I can adjust. As I say it might just be my technique, so don't be put off it!! Dave
  13. For sale is this gold top Jack Casady hollow body bass. I've owned this for about 2 days, (brought form here), but having gigged it last night it's clear that I won't get on with the body shape; I came away with a sore right forearm (probably due to poor technique)! Unfortunately I'm so used to Fender body shapes, I can't get used to how these sit/hang! Anyway, it's a shame because the bass sounds fantastic! I kept picking it back up during the sets to try it again but to no avail. I strung it with some D'Addario nylon tapewound strings which sound great; It will be sold with the rounds it came with, but I highly recommend getting some of these on there! The low impedance pickup gives it a real vintage mid range thump, which cuts through without sounding harsh. The 3 position tone switch, which alters the ohms I think (?!) is versatile and makes for easy sound changes. Also has master vol and tone. No marks or dings on the bass and, being hollow body it's nice and light. Case has one slightly dodgy catch but is perfectly usable and sturdy. The E on the scratch plate is just stuck on (as they all are) hence why it's on some pics but not others (I prefer it without). If I did a lot of studio work I'd definitely keep it as an option for recording, but unfortunately I don't and therefore it will end up sitting in the rack gathering dust! Collection preferred but meet within reason. I'm in Leighton Buzzard and work in Milton Keynes. Looking for £410 Thanks!
  14. Get in touch with Sibob. He works at focusrite and helped me out when I had the same issue a couple years ago with a software update. Unfortunately I can't remember what it was he told me to do!
