There's only one way to find out. You may have to roll a bit of bottom end out of the bass with those... but without hearing what your band is doing, then, its hard to call. If you were doing a laid back acoustic thing, then probably yes, no problem... anything above that, you're going to have to experiment. Again, don't know whats happening at your desk end - -but a compressor would defo help the speakers out too.

It's 90 per cent guitar but if you like trudging around gear and getting in on that sort of vibe, it's not actually a bad show.

Just logged in, there a section to register the Helix in there - you have to provide serial number and upload a copy of the receipt. There is a drop down for where you've bought it from - may be worth checking the T&Cs to see if applies to second users... or see if you can get a receipt or something.

I've had a quick look on the website, looks like you have to have a Line6 account on which I presume you register your Line6 Helix. May be worth signing up and taking a look at how you go about registering your device. It's a similar deal for Kemper but I've never owned a Helix, only used them, so I'm not too sure. £75 for the plugin though, got to be good though, if you are recording and like to tweak on the fly.

Re: inears, a lot of digital mixers have access to the auxes via your iPhone, iPad or Android tablet. This enables you to do your own mix independent of foh, remotely from where you are standing. basically, anything you want to hear, put into the desk and then mix on an aux (or two for stereo) to sent to your ears - either via a wired or wireless route. There's loads of info in the big inears thread in the Accessories area of this forum if you are interested.

I feel for you on the band front. Scary echoes to one of my own projects. I provide a killer PA, all players have wireless IEM systems available to them, I do all the funding of the band, I do all the promo - all I ask is that people make themselves available to do the recording. 12 months on and I'm still waiting for those tracks to be completed. i think because they have no financial input, ultimately things are difficult. They are available for gigs (sometimes) - yet complain about the fees. They know of my ability to run a band and get it earning some crazy good money... yet they do nothing to help it work. Yet they want the money. It's amazing I'm actually able to land any gigs with zero promo available. Funny isn't it? You can't gift some people a band.
