1. Hey all, I bought this a while back with the intention of fitting it to my now sold Roadworn Jazz (I was planning to emulate Bobby Vega's Shark bass). Anyhow the Roadworn has gone so this is surplus to requirements. It's basically an ALLPARTS copy of a Leoquan Badass II bridge, I bought 2 originally (nickel and chrome finishes) and put the chrome one onto my Limelight jazz. I've had loads of Badass II bridges before and these Omega versions compare very well. From the ALLPARTS UK online store (http://www.allparts....-loading-nickel) the RRP is £80. I'm asking £40 posted for this still unopened example . I'm based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire if you want to collect, no probs. PM me if you're interested please. Peace.
2. .. well done that man! A while back I was happy with my two basses (fretted and fretless) and told myself that I must not go on BC as if monkey sees something monkey wants to buy something. Well I've now 4 basses, that didn't work did it ha ha!
3.
Beautiful fretless basses here Here mine : 1972 Fender jazz bass with a serious Mojo. Hardly played all these 40 last years
.... I'm lovin it.
4. ... got the album a while back, a mixed bag of stuff but it's all good
5. Hey folks, Rich came up to collect a Roadworn Jazz he bought off me. Nice friendly chap, took the time to have a brew and a chat as well. Wouldn't hesitate to deal with again. Cheers.
6. ... all sold now and thanks for the interest folks.
7.
It's actually a shame that you had to re position the bridge pickup. Lovely jazz otherwise.
it's only in it's original routing, so could be put back in the 'factory' holes if needed, but thanks for the comment anyhow.

9. I've had one and a fair few jazzes and it's not a jazz neck as such, more of an in between width but slimmed down front to back. Nearly as nice as a jazz but with a little bit more girth.
10.
Not very subtle! 😄
Lol! Have a Happy New Year bump ... and if mine were in Fiesta Red I'd be keeping it 😄!
11. Hey folks, Hi have for sale (no trades now after talking to my wife!) my Fender Roadworn 3TSB jazz. I traded it a while back for an amp I had and would like to move it on to pay for another bass I just had to have !! It's an earlier version without the extra tooling hole underneath the pickguard (but it does have the normal body stamp on this model). I've made an attempt to make it look more like a pre '62 Jazz. This has included using contcentric pots and a bridge off a Limelight Jazz that came more pre-aged (by Mark at Limelight) than the original (bridge screws are all free to move). I also used the screws that came with this bride as they were much better, being larger and a bit longer than the original ones. I also bought a new earthing strip and pickup grounding plate that I installed. I added some pickup mute holes (from the variety of ones I've seen on the internet I feel they are within an acceptable position) to again try to go for the earlier jazz vibe. The bass has a very nice feeling neck, with a reasonably low action (no shims needed). I was also informed by the second owner that the original owner dressed the frets. They all look nice and even and the bass plays as it should. The one point to mention is that I repositioned the bridge pickup within it's original routing cavity by a couple of mm to get it more in line with the strings. The routing cavity hasn't been altered at all, just pushed the pickup up as much as I could in it to get better pole piece/string alignment. The bass plays very well indeed, with a nice range of tonal options from the concentric pot setup available. I'm now looking for £550 collected from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. The bass will also come with a Fender gig bag, the original tug bar and a leather strap. Any questions please PM. 12.
Corrected that as a used Warwick buyer - excellent value they are at the moment. Who would buy a full retail price one is another question altogether
+ 1
13. Hey folks, For some unknown reason I'm getting my local radio station coming through when I touch my treble control knob in active mode. When the knob is turned to either of it's extremes the radio stops coming through. When in passive no issue and the mid and bass pots don't have this random feature lol! Has this happened to anyone else and if so were all your pots earthed to each other? In the real world I don't think it'll make any difference, just wondered what's going on and if it's an easy fix? Peace.
14. Hey, cheers mrtcat, I've just read an old thread from TB and seen his comments on the issue. Seems like a good sort of chap, I'll PM him now!! Thanks again.
15. Hey folks, My Streamliner 900 has now displayed the common fault of the internal LEDs going on the blink. I emailed the shop I bought it from and they said as Fender have discontinued them (I did know this) that they could not help out. Does anyone know where to go about getting replacement please? Cheers.
16. Hey folks, Had a great meet up with Umar last night and bought his really nice Streamer Stage 1 for a great price. He also included two sets of strings, a leather strap and some spare Jim Dunlop straplocks, top BCer ! Really nice genuine guy, pleasure to deal with Peace.

18. Pics please. Just to check is the neck the deeper U shape profile rather than the thinner C shape?

Jazz

Hey all, I recently got a Fender Roadworn 3TSB jazz in a trade. I also have a Limelight jazz that had an aged dual concentric pot set-up on, so I swapped the control plates over, bought the Fender grounding bits and bobs, added mute holes (so far as I can see they are within tolerance, a fair few differing examples on t'web) and tweaked the position of the rear pickup to get the pole pieces alinged . So now after a little bit of effort I think it's more in keeping with a 1960/61 jazz , Peace.
21. .... funny where basses end up. That White over Sunburst was once in my possession (no 00125 IIRC), played great however I'm more a jazz fan so have now got a jazz limelight again .
