1. Hello! I'm ordering a new bass body that doesn't have any pre drilled holes for a bridge (I'm just attaching a standard five hole bridge). Is this difficult to do by myself? Is there anything to bear in mind? Thanks guys Mike

3. Here we go click on them for larger images. It's a pretty 'honest' camera, so any visible dirt can be (and will be by me before transit) cleaned.
4. Hello! Will put pictures up in a minute, but I'm selling my Badass II bridge. It's in very good condition and thankfully whoever grooved the saddles did a very good job (unlike the one that came with my Marcus Miller ). It also comes with screws. Thanks for your time, and pictures will come very soon. Edit: This is provisionally sold to The Bass Doc

6. Hi everyone! A while back, I got some advice on who makes bodies in the UK as I've been looking for a jazz bass body for quite some time. I got some really good advice, especially an e-mail address of somebody on here who makes really good quality bodies. However, I've a) lost the e-mail, and lost the thread so, I ask the identical question again - who makes good value, quality bodies in the UK (and definitely including members on Basschat)? Thanks everyone, Mike
7. ...balls. PLEASE let me know if this falls through
8. Hi all! I got my lovely double bass a few weeks ago, but I now need a pickup and a case to go with it. All the case needs is decent wheels, and all the pickup needs to be able to do is do handle both arco and pizz. Let me know what you've got
9.
Here's a stupidly funky tune my gran (bizarre I know) used to play a lot when me and my brother were younger. Usually we'd end up dancing around the living room in our pyjamas too it. Happy memories, killer track!
Really cool! That's obviously got a really big Michael Jackson feel, but that's not really a problem right ? Synth bass like that is just awesome though - how about some Cameo? 10. Simple one, this - I seem to have trouble with my strings not sounding even enough. I understand it's not going to be 100pc perfect, but I have trouble with things such as quiet D and loud G strings. Doesn't seem to be related to set up. Who has some good suggestions for good sets of even bass strings? Thanks
11. Just thought I'd post to say that all's been completed thoroughly nice and helpful person and I'm really happy with the double bass. Now, how to play the blasted thing...
12. Great suggestions guys - thanks very much. That Thomann double bass looks pretty good actually. How do you go about instructing them what kind of set up you want? And for a complete beginner, what kind of action would be suitable?
13. Hello everybody! As the title says, I'm now starting the rather complex process of getting hold of a double bass. I'm really not too fussy at the moment, but it has be reasonably playable (I'm too worried about injuries) and not have any significant damage (I already realise that sometimes double basses can sustain some damage and be okay). I'm around the Brighton area but I'm obviously willing to travel to have a look. Bearing in mind that I hardly know anything about double basses, £600 give or take is my rough budget by the looks of things at the moment. Thanks very much
14. These get so many good reviews - as much as I like my Boss LS-2, this is another level.
15. Actually - is the Tokai neck not a standard Fender pocket? Have just read on a few places that it isn't .
16. I don't want to be facetious, but after a near full-on electric shock due to a defeated ground running through my amp it has got to be my socket tester. They're not much money, but I would recommend it to ANYBODY. It scared the absolute hell out of me and I was lucky to get away with a numb left arm for 20 minutes.
17.
I have a DVDRW, a DVDROM & 2 x CD ROM drives I don't need. Welcome to 'em for postage. G.
Are either the DVDROM or DVD-RW drives SATA? I could really do with one of these
18. I'm really interested in this! Could you send me some pictures please? Can PM you my details.
19. Hello all, Will put up some pics soon, but I'm thinking about selling this pedal as I'm not really using it a great deal at the moment. It's in very good condition minus a few surface scratches on one side. Let me know if you have any questions
20.
Bump or open to trades?
What were you possibly looking at for trades? I must profess to still be interested in this, but I just don't have the money to commit at the moment.
