1. Hi all, I've got a Euphonic Audio NL-210 arriving in the post tomorrow - anybody have good experiences with these? I won't put down my reasons why it appealed to me just yet, but what I will say is I've been looking around for quite some time and I'm really looking forward to giving it a blast Thanks for reading!

3. Judging from your original post, there is absolutely no way in hell I would be doing the gig. I would strongly advise to keep off playing full stop until, in your mind, you're pretty much certain your problems are completely gone and even then I would ease yourself very slowly back into things. A very sorry read though I hate reading injury threads...
4. Hi there all, I have been looking into sending my EBS 1x12 that I just sold on the marketplace. As it's pretty light at something like 12.5KG it would be ideal to courier, but I have never couriered a cabinet before. Who's had good experiences with who? And who offers insurance as well? Need at least a couple of hundred pounds. Cheers!
5. I'd absolutely really like to try out the Vintage then. For what I want it's pretty much not right but you never know I guess! Speaking of which, do you have a link to the Surrey bassday? I keep on losing it but I've said I'm going!
6.
I have the 1x10 version of this cab and they truly are amazing quality. If I needed it, I'd go for it myself and have a little stack! Bump for a great bit of gear. Truckstop
Cheers! Yeah, they really are remarkable quality and was so surprised when I came across a problem with the original driver a few days after I bought it. I also attest strongly to EBS and Bernie's willingness to fix the problem and saved me a big upset, as although other people suspected it was just the dome that had delaminated slightly causing a slight clicking, when the original driver came out it actually looked like it was something mechanical that was causing the clicking which would have probably meant buying a new one! The old driver was actually still functioning fine really through all the gigs I used it with. Anyway, daily bump

8. Hi there all! I have for sale my EBS Neo 1x12. The basic specs for this cabinet are as follows: Frequency Response: 50hz-18khz Power handling: 300 watts at 8 ohms Sensitivity: 100db Weight: 27lbs It's in very good condition with some scuffing of the corners, but apart from that it's in genuinely sound condition. The speaker was replaced literally yesterday by Bernie Goodfellow at his shop as the old driver developed a small problem (this was present before I actually gigged with the speaker, not through my own usage) so as of now I haven't even played the new speaker in at home yet let alone gigged with it! As can be appreciated it's a really nice sounding cabinet that can keep up with a surprising amount of venues - I played in two guitar 70's hard rock and a 10-peice funk band with this cabinet, and it kept up very admirably indeed in both situations as it's one of the more efficient 1x12's available. With my MarkBass SA450 about halfway on the master volume got me proper gigging volume, but in the funk band I was told to turn down a little at halfway master . The issue it had before didn't get any worse at any point when I was gigging with it, which makes it seem reasonable that it could have been a fault in manufacture (or bad luck!), In larger venues or in profoundly loud bands (and especially with a 5 string) one will not be able to cope by itself but that definitely isn't where the appeal lies - at 27lbs, it was more than a breeze to roll into a venue with and with the right arrangements could be very easily transported on the train or bus. The reason I'm selling is I don't think it is the sound I'm completely after, which is a shame because I am still very much enamoured with its portability and ease of use and I would definitely still state that the quality of sound is superb. All I'd like is what I paid for it, which is £300, which considering the fact it was re-speakered 24 hours ago seems like a good deal to me I live in the Shoreham-by-Sea area which is near Brighton, but I am willing to travel a bit within reason and obviously other arrangements can be considered via PM. Pictures will be put up later today - thanks for reading!
9. Thanks all - I will maybe do this sometime soon! I appreciate everybody's help (and it has been truly helpful). I've used it at a gig and rehearsal now and the driver actually does seem to be fine - you simply cannot hear the vibration at those levels. The tech basically said to me considering the nature of the vibration, either the driver will be fine and the noise could actually go away completely because the driver will compress any gaps around the dome, or it will completely fall apart and so far it seems to just hold up fine, so I will probably attempt something like Copydex or simple glue like Mr. Fitzmaurice suggested if the vibration stays for a while (or obviously gets worse). At that kind of stage, I'll possibly have to replace the driver anyway so if I mess it up it won't be a biggie

11. Sunday morning bump Definitely not a feeler any more, so I'll try and put some pictures up today!

13.
Bernie is the sole distributor of EBS gear in the UK. Bernie is your man. If you contact EBS direct, in most cases they will direct you to Bernie as well!
Yeah, I'm going to see him tomorrow and see what comes out of it. I'm going to prepare myself for an expensive fix have had very useful PM's, and at least it sounds like I'll find a way of fixing the situation somehow.
14. A new development have posted a further post in Amps. specifically: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showforum=5
15. Hi all, There is some chance that my EBS 1x12 Neo has developed an irritating problem with the driver basically, there is a slight buzzing noise being generated between the dome and the cone of the driver (excuse if I mix terms up) which happens after about 1/3 or so of master volume (I use a MarkBass SA450, and the ratings by and large match up). In the words of the technician who checked my cabinet, you probably wouldn't hear it very well at gig volume but you would (and audibly can) at bedroom level. I've already called Bernie Goodfellow about it, but I was just wondering if there was any place that sells the EBS Neo drivers (obviously the 300 watt 8 ohm one specifically, ideally)? Bernie will hopefully help me sort it all out but obviously every little helps in this situation. I will probably have to buy a new driver as I'm actually the second owner, but only of about a week or so i
16. It's looking like I'm coming at least my most probable equipment stowing will include: Lakland 44-01 MarkBass SA450 EBS 1x12 Neo As a minimum!
17. Would anybody believe me if I said that (COMPLETELY out of the blue) I sold my Badass II off my Marcus Miller for £135 a while ago? It was open to bidding and it went sky high, much to my complete amazement. AND I got paid too!
18. Believe it or not, he is actually around the Shoreham-by-Sea (even Brighton area) quite a great deal, and I woudn't be surprised if you could work out a way of meeting him personally. He has done jazz clinics in Shoreham Ropetackle centre (which I bloody missed due to being away) so it's definitely possible!
19. Hi all! This is short and sweet - I may be selling my Ampeg 4x10HLF soon, including a proper amp cover! It has one or two small tolex rips at the back which are practically unavoidable, especially considering I've been using this cabinet for over four years now. It is indeed a proper USA made cabinet and literally looks almost brand new (especially the front). Needless to say, with most amps it is literally impossible to run out of headroom with this cabinet! It is frighteningly loud and sounds seriously great at the same time. With my MarkBass SA450 I have not heard much louder combinations - tube, or solid state - and had enough volume for any situation. As some people may know already it also has a variable tweeter which can get you some very un-Ampeg-ey tones - in fact, as a whole, I really feel this cabinet is truly versatile and on both original writing bands and function bands I never really found it that hard to find different tones I needed. I think a price of £400 is very fair considering its very good condition and the fact it comes with a cover. I'm based around the Brighton area (Shoreham-by-Sea) and it goes without saying really that this is collection only . However, I may be able to arrange collection from my girlfriend's gaffe in Kent if that would make it any easier for potential buyers, or maybe other arrangements can be made via PM. I will put pictures up ASAP and I will also confirm its feeler status very soon PM me if you have any questions. Thanks for reading! Here are the obligatory stats copied from Ampeg.com: F Drivers: 4 x 10” Voice Coil: 2” Magnet Weight (each): 30 oz HF Drivers: Horn/Driver Voice Coil: 1” Magnet Weight (each): 8 oz RMS Power Handling: 500-Watts Peak Power Handling: 1000-Watts (it doesn't actually tell you this on the Ampeg website, but on the crossover panel the label confirms this). Frequency Response (-3dB): 48Hz-18kHz Usable Low Frequency (-10dB): 28Hz Nominal Impedance: 4-Ohms Sensitivity: 98dB Maximum SPL: 125dB Dimensions (W x H x D inches): 24 x 30 x 19 Shipping Weight: 110 Pounds (I don't know why they put shipping weight here! Needless to say, the lower figure is the actual weight figure. Handling Weight: 85 Pounds
20.
Staple suggestion is a good one! Alternatively could it be the internal speaker lead vibrating against the driver? Can you hear anything moving if you pick the cab up and give it a really good shake? Try turning it upside down or on its back and playing and seeing if the noise happens then.
Bingo!!! I took the crossover off at the back and wiggled the red/black speaker leads and it *seems* to be something related to the speaker wires. I don't have a great deal of wiggle range but it does seem to do something when the clicking gets a little less worse, so I'm almost certain now the speaker is fine (I really didn't see any reason why it wouldn't be). Phew! Now I'll get the technician to have a look and see what needs moving out of the way. Cheers Alex!
21.
When that happened to me it was a staple from the insulation material that had come loose and attached itself to the magnet (still took me bloody hours to find it though). Hope it's that simple for you mate C
This is exactly the kind of freak incident I've been thinking (and hoping) it is. It looks like a pretty simple cabinet to disassemble at least, so hopefully it won't take eons to find out what it is. Cheers for your help! Mike
