Pardon my ignorance in this respect, but as CS basses still 'mass produced' on a much smaller scale, as in CNC machines etc., or are they hand made in the same way they would be from our band of home-grown luthiers?

My bass came will a little blue (UVish?) keyring torch so never needed to try alternatives yet.
