  1. Definitely worked for me as I had had a busy few weeks running up to it. To have the BB and then a day to chill was great.
  2. Great day, and really good to see old friends and meet new ones. Thanks very much to Rob and family for organising, catering and generally being top bananas.
  3. My preparedness thus far extends to having bought a large tin of choccy biscuits (for emergency use by the team).
  4. @peterjam will you be suitably armed with the tin foil lined hat? Just in case....
  5. Ah ha. I was fairly sure there was a tone option too! Thanks @eude
  6. Thanks for the info. TBH I wasn't expecting a four pot set-up. I'm quite familiar with the ACG filter preamps having a few of Alan's basses. He (Alan) did mention he was going to making a few more EQ02s I think it was a little while back though and I was wondering what the configuration would be.
  7. There used to be a two pickup version and a single pickup version. The difference is whether there is a stacked vol/blend or just a vol. pot. There's a bit of me thinks that there might have been a version with a tone control too?
  8. Every few years Rich and I seem to meet in a railway station concourse with either or both of us having a bass in hand. This year was the year of both of us walking out with a different bass to the one we walked in with. Great to see you as ever Rich and thanks again.
  9. Hi Rob I deal with additive manufacturing as part of my day job so definitely of interest for me. I keep thinking about the ZeroMods parts and how expensive they whether I should just buy a few and scan them....
  10. I can bring my pedal board along too if folks want to try anything out. It has a Korg Pitch Black mini tuner; T-Rex Quint; Sansamp YYZ overdrive; TC Electronic Thunderstorm flanger; Keekey Bassist compressor; Digitec Drop pedal and a Micro Thumpinator.
  11. I'll be aiming for around 10:00 as well.
  12. It's just that headstock. It really doesn't float my boat. Apologies from a very shallow person.
  13. From the Sandberg website for the TT bases (both VS and TT are the same neck it would seem): 4-STRING FINGERBOARD RADIUS - 14 inch WIDTH ZERO FRET - 37 mm THICKNESS 1ST FRET - 20 mm WIDTH 22TH FRET - 63 mm BRIDGE STRING SPACING - 18.5 to 20 mm SIZE FRETS - 2.5 mm NECK PROFILE - c-shape
  14. Just acquired a lovely bass from Jamie. Brilliant to deal with as has been said often in this thread.
  15. Yes indeed Ian, that's really why I suggested it since you know about how good these little gems are for not much money either. I believe that the neck was common to both the P and the J Silver Series basses as a good compromise between the two. I think all the Electra's are all active (not sure if they have the pull for passive vol. knob like the German Sandbergs). I've owned an Electra VS bass (P bass) and that sounded 'crisper' for want of a better word than the Fender/Squier offerings. There's a nice black TT f/s on here which I was eyeing up the other day, not too far away maybe to try out. I know the seller, lovely guy.
  16. Sandberg Electra TTs are nice basses, great neck. Also, and if you can find one, the much underrated Squier Silver Series basses. Made in Japan and very decent instruments indeed.
  17. I'm going to change the bass line up I'll be bringing as I have now sold the SBMM, Yamaha and Ibanez basses The line up will be: Limelight "Lee Sklar" bass; ACG P-Type (one of only 2 in the world); ACG Graft J Type and ACG SLG 32" scale + practice amp and headphones.
  18. Same for me and I echo the thanks.
  19. Aidan just acquired some tuners from me. The perfect transaction, thanks very much.
  20. Yes I've used this method myself a few times in the past.
  21. Thanks very much, if nothing closer is available I'll PM you later.
  22. I'm in urgent need of a box to ship a bass but for once I don't actually have one. Help of the BC community would be much appreciated!
  23. Hi folks This just popped into my messages. Looks dodgy to me. Why would Reverb Support use Daniel's Gear Locker as their account?
  24. Hi folks I bought these and then have decided not to use them. I know, what a fidiot. So, 4 brand new, unopened tuners for your bass. With Lollipops! They fit a wide range of Mex and Squier basses, but as ever check before you buy. These cost £96 new so grab yourself a bargain. Now sold, thanks for the interest. Here's pic.:
