Has anyone spotted a library for patches on the web anywhere? I want people to do the hard work for me!
this is it dude, http://guitarpatches.com/patches.php?unit=zoomb9&sort=downl theres a forum about this thing over on Talkbass with a few patch ideas too
jaybass70, another thought , are you running the 64-bit version of Windows 7 ? There are a couple of comments on youtube about the software not working on the 64-bit version and that seems reasonable, given that the software dates from 2008. If so there are a few ways round it, but the easiest is probably to run Windows 7 compatibility mode. I can't test this, since all my Windoze machines are of the 32-bit variety.
Hj Pete, I am running windows XP home, still in the dark ages here
-
Edit: It looks like you also need to install the Micro$oft .net framework - do you have that installed? yeah got that, I am a bit confused about what number midi channel I should send and recieve on (on the zoom itself)
It's on the list of things to do, but I'm not ready yet. Just a thought, you do have it hooked up to a Midi interface? I don't think it works via USB.
Yeah i have got a Midi to usb connector like this http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=230900025574&index=1&nav=SEARCH&nid=72475132444 ill have another mess around with it tomorrow , apparently its incredibly easy with the librarian software to edit patches , if only i could get it to work
What's funny is that everyone I know who has met Noel and Liam (quite a few connections through their drummer Chris Sharrock) say that Liam is far easier, downright pleasant in fact to talk to in comparison to Noel, who I know can be incredibly difficult. Public perception would suggest that this is the other way round.
No 1 to this ^ its absolutely true, I done a few tours with them back in the day and the public perception in my view has them the wrong way round. -
Rack units usually take a line-level input - FX loops are designed to accommodate rack effects. Pedal manufacturers (usually) assume you'll take a cable direct from your guitar since you'll be standing right next to it. It's fairly logical but I agree a bit of a pain to have two different approaches to doing the same thing.
I am really confused re the effects loop conundrum! I have a markbass TA503 and a Zoom B9 multi effect, in the Markbass manual it says I can run effects pedals or rack gear through the loop, am i best going direct into the zoom with my bass or using the loop, it sounds good either way to me. -
which idiot has broken his left wrist? :(
jaybass 70 replied to stingrayPete1977's topic in General Discussion
Good to hear your on the mend , definitely worth waiting for the specialist to do the op . After the op I was taking Arnica, which is a homeopathic anti inflammatory and calcium supplements with vitamins d and k , couldn't say for certain if they helped but i made a good speedy recovery , but i suppose I would have eaten a raw scabby dog if it would have helped ! good luck and take it easy dude -
Thanks for the heads up, just pulled the trigger myself

gutted for you dude, i broke my wrist earlier in the year and have 2 screws holding it together. I never thought it would be the same again but if your a good boy and do what the doctors tell you and do your phsio you will make a good recovery, its been 6 months since mine broke and it honestly feels as strong as it did before. Good Luck and don't despair, get well soon. Jason -

Hi guys and gals, to cut a long story short a songwriting friend of mine is recording an album, I play electric bass in his band 'Jimmy Rae and the firewalkers' click on the link to enjoy one of our songs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPGMe99iAAA (yeah thats me!) he has a new set of songs which are more of a jazzy bluesy sound which require a double bass, however I don't own a double bass and was wondering if you nice people in Basschat land could do me a big favour an lend me a double bass to complete this project, yeah i know its a bit of a big ask but I don't want to miss out on this opportunity cos I think this new set of songs are great and i want to be playing on them. I could leave you with one of my trusty axes to play with and figure out some sort of rental charge. Hope someone can help me out, thanks in advance. Jason p.s I am based on the wirral and will drive the necessary distance
