  1. Purple.
  2. +1 for this, had it for a long time before downsizing to hx stomp, incredibly responsive and purple which is always key
  3. I'd take either 🤦‍♂️
  4. If you've got a good internal metronome you'll be fine regardless but I do not 😂 so having a little LED or light circle really helped! I've had a few over the years and they have all held value so it's worth picking one up to experiment as you're likely to get your money back through a sale
  5. All great options with not much between them but having a visual loop indicator is a huge benefit!
  6. Thanks Kiwi, after seeing his previous antics I think I'll just leave it
  7. A friend is building me a body which happens to be a shape favoured by Lemmy, Geddy & Squires but for a bolt on ibanez talman neck Would photos of the progress be too contentious for Mr Hall?
  8. Intrigued to know what else you're using the stomp for! 🤔 Sounds like something is plugged in the wrong input? Could you post some photos of your setup to help diagnose?
  9. Just a few cable management improvements thanks to a hole saw and Amazon's wide range of cables!
  10. This is so meta
  11. They really are! It's served me well but I've got a new compact set-up now. This did sell on eBay but the buyer kindly cancelled just as id finished boxing it up 🤦‍♂️
  12. Have you tried booking under the guise of a pothead that wants to have a mini rave and damage all the equipment? I believe they are welcomed
  13. The 1st gen Shure glx can be found for £200 these days (i got mine for this b.i.n on eBay a couple of years ago) Really can't go wrong with that!
  14. Sorry to hear your bad experience OP! We used to use pirate when they first started (Nottingham location) and for a while it seemed great - very clean, decent gear, plenty of availability - but it went downhill very quick. Their reliance on gimmicky ai customer service is incredibly frustrating and they don't seem to want to maintain their equipment. Take your business elsewhere! If anyone needs rehearsal space in Nottingham check out Stave Rooms 🤟
  15. Have you tried richtone?
  16. Brings back fond memories of the police being called to a pub gig on the lovely Birmingham waterfront. The complaint came from a nearby docked boat, maybe float off??
  17. Hello all, I'm currently using the voodoo labs hx stomp current doubler but I'm looking for right angle cable options to prevent damage from it sticking out. I found an adapter thanks to a Reddit thread but on testing it the unit wouldn't power up. Any proven suggestions? EDIT adapter was in a pack of 2. Second one worked 🤦‍♂️ thread can be closed whilst I clean the egg off my face
  18. Well done for persevering! I think I would have lost my head in a blind rage over a no show! I get mardy enough with other members turning up late without a good excuse/doctors note/hand written letter from mum saying they've got the shits
  19. 2 pints before the gig, you'll be fine
  20. Over the last few gigs I felt like I was bringing too much stuff and causing myself tap dancing problems, unwanted activation and cancellation of effects due to big feet Vs cramped board. Decided to downsize and condense from a very crowded temple audio duo 17 to a much more considered rock board 2.1!
  21. Hi Pete unfortunately no! The shape was easy enough to do on my spindle sander but anything more complex I would struggle! I recommend earlpilanz on eBay for custom work, he's the best
  22. Why drive when you can fly?
  23. Thinking of selling my custom built bass. Body is basswood from a Westfield, with the neck pocket re-routed to correct the scale length for a jazz neck. The neck is from. Harley Benton jazz bass, maple and rosewood. The plates are tort, hand made by myself. Pickups are the EMG Tom Araya set with an added TKO killswitch. I will also include a Ritter thunderbird gig bag. Open to offers! It's by no means factory finish but it plays and sounds great, it's just on the heavy side!
