Howdy. Tried searching this forum a many others but struggling to find a clear answer to my conundrum! I currently a split signal at the very end of my board, 1 path to the amp & 1 path to the PA ( and iem) Recently I picked up a used Boss LS2 because I like the idea of being able to tweak the volume of each out. I figured it would be as simple as using the main input, then A out for the amp and B out for the pa on the ab mix setting however the volume controls don't effect the signals. What am I doing wrong?

I don't know if it's because I'm so used to playing my own home brew Chinese firewood j*zz basses but I rarely play something in a store that feels "right" to me anymore! This has lead to way too many being sold on despite probably being excellent instruments. Ricks are a strange beast as I've never enjoyed the ones I've tried out and yet I still have serious gas for one 🤦‍♂️ The lesson I take away is that if you find something that feels right, go with it

First gig of 2025, a birthday party, but the venue was part of a busy restaurant so they asked us to be mindful of volume. Felt like a great excuse to use my little cab for a little low end whilst the pa did the heavy lifting. Forgot how nice these eden cabs are and I got it for a steal.

Had the same issue with the jptr warlow, I realised that all the bass demos were blending it in, really frustrating!

The dial needle always starts from the bottom left so if it's flat it moves the short distance, but if sharp it goes all the way from bottom left, over the centre then to the right, it's a minor inconvenience but if it's between songs in a live situation where time is critical it was a huge pita

The hb is very warm and deep (giggity). For the money it's worth a gamble

Lazy answer I know but the hx stomp has been an absolute game changer for me and I'm regularly kicking myself for not taking the plunge earlier as this year has been my biggest revolving door of pedals to date Having said that I have found a few gems Raygun FX meatbox - stupidly cheap but sounded absolutely incredible as a fuzz/drive. Lots of low end loss to be expected but if they brought this out with a blend it would be a total giant slayer Jam pedals dynassaur - I'd been using a SD studio compressor for a good few years and never had any trouble but this has a t rex painted on it. Can't argue with that. Harley Benton magnum di - bought on a whim but it's turned into my secret sauce into the mixing desk, this should be more popular!

Sonicake B factory - started smoking the second I plugged it in then died. They were kind enough to refund though Pigtronix 2nr - love the look but the needle always comes from the left so adds noticeable time required to tune up - terrible decision on what should have been a great product

It is option paralysis out there for comps however only one has a t rex painted on it. Jam pedals bass dynassaur.

Over the years I've used a bass clone, ampeg liquifier, hartke bass chorus, TC Corona. Managed to get a great factory 2nd Jam pedals waterfall from their reverb store and that blew them all out the water! For a budget option anything with a blend should get decent results! Hope this helps 😊

Reworked around the hx stomp just in time for a run of Xmas gigs and also the first for me since welcoming my daughter into the world!

I'll take a look, thank you! Bought the unit second hand from what I'm assuming was a pink Floyd tribute as every preset slow was a Floyd song, quite impressive really!
