  1. Sonicake B factory - started smoking the second I plugged it in then died. They were kind enough to refund though Pigtronix 2nr - love the look but the needle always comes from the left so adds noticeable time required to tune up - terrible decision on what should have been a great product
  2. Selling some things from my board that have been made redundant since getting my hx stomp Darkglass alpha Omicron, good condition other than 3m dual lock on the base £100 posted UK only JHS splitter, same condition as above, £50 posted UK only Boss tu2, beat up but still working as they all do! £30 posted UK only Jptr fx jive £100 new in box (ordered but longer needed, tried to cancel with them but they didn't respond to my email) so when this arrives it'll be going straight to whoever wants it!
  3. Needs shifting to make room for a custom build that is too litigious for these parts 👀 born to lose, out to lunch..
  4. Love these! I could see flea rocking them
  5. It must be love by madness, we play it super slow and stanky
  6. It is option paralysis out there for comps however only one has a t rex painted on it. Jam pedals bass dynassaur.
  7. Over the years I've used a bass clone, ampeg liquifier, hartke bass chorus, TC Corona. Managed to get a great factory 2nd Jam pedals waterfall from their reverb store and that blew them all out the water! For a budget option anything with a blend should get decent results! Hope this helps 😊
  8. Reworked around the hx stomp just in time for a run of Xmas gigs and also the first for me since welcoming my daughter into the world!
  9. I have an interesting response to this thread, but you'll have to Google "interesting response" 😁
  10. I'll take a look, thank you! Bought the unit second hand from what I'm assuming was a pink Floyd tribute as every preset slow was a Floyd song, quite impressive really!
  11. Soo thinking of selling this j bass! You may have seen this as part of my thread All hardware is decent quality import apart from the fender hi mass bridge. Pickups are emg standard j set. It plays very well, the neck is a bit wider and flatter than a normal jazz bass. I bought it as rosewood but not 100% convinced! I painted this myself so it's by no means professional quality but it holds up to abuse and you won't see many others like this! Collection from Nottingham/Mansfield area but can travel within reason
  12. Apologies if this has already been asked! But in preset mode, is there a way to get the footswitch icons to display the name of the preset and not the code?
  13. Selling a few bits to fund a hx stomp! 😊 Mxr - £100 great condition, 3m dual lock on back SOLD Way Huge - £100 very used but works perfectly, 3m dual lock on back DemonFX - £30 Great condition, velcro on back Free P&P for the UK
  14. Bought a micro thumpinator off Dave, he was very easy to deal with and sent it very quickly 👍
  15. Photos of the bags- well worn from being dragged up and down the UK but still fully functional
  16. Official gig bag for the v1 Aguilar ag700 head, a bit battered from lots of use but works fine, no issues with the zips £30 free p&p And also the official gig bag for the temple audio duo 17, used condition but no issues, £30 free p&p Photos to follow
  17. Selling the always on Broughton HPF (placeholder photo, will take when home from work!) excellent condition barring the 3m dual lock on the base. £50 free p&p Proper photos to follow 👍
  18. Oh right thanks for the heads up!
  19. That is actually genius thank you!!
  20. Sorry if this is not the right place! But I wondered if anyone could identify the bass in the picture? This is my dad in Germany in the late 60s. He can't remember the make/model or even where it ended up. I have a bit of a pipe dream of finding one to gift him for his 70th birthday. Any ideas?
  21. I'd kinda forgotten about this one- unfortunately this one never made it to live use as I came home to find the body had split from the heat of my kitchen (the body was very very cheap from eBay, to call it solid wood would be generous) Some day I may attempt something similar but for now- enjoy
  22. These systems are the bane of my life when playing wedding venues. Using DI outs helps, I got a little eden 2*8 just to give myself and the drummer some vibration to work with but i can't help feel that customers are being ripped off by venues who allow bands but don't disclose this information! Once people start singing and dancing it can quickly trigger a db limiter/cut out 🤦‍♂️ My favourite example of this was the wedding planner asking us during the interval to "tell the crowd to dance a bit quieter"... I wish this was a joke
  23. With a little brown streak at the back? 😂
