    Hi buddy, it's a bass neck but I've seen people do a straight up conversation with guitar necks before, the issue is more around intonation than tension

    It's Sunday night. You wake up and survey the wreckage. There is toast somehow stuck to the ceiling and a half a kebab in your shoe. The hangover is tinged with remorse and the stark reminder that the young man you once were is long gone. The only thing that could possibly ease the ceaseless dread of Mondays alarm is buying a second hand Aguilar ag700 v1 with abs case.

    I can't believe I'm actually listing this as it is my absolute pride and joy (the eye lights up and is a t rex so..) But my new amp has built in comp so this is surplus! Trying to be utilitarian on my board Dual lock on the bottom - have fun with that!

    Pics to follow this evening! In the process of downsizing so this is on the block! Used regularly in gigs and studio, bought from new and kept in a gig bag or hard case when not in use Flexible on price, no idea what these are worth nowadays!

    The damage is now fully repaired on the body, but looking for your opinions I have asked for a partial refund to cover the additional materials, this would be say £20 for glue, brush and a new clamp Given that the bass was sold as damaged, but all descriptions and photos focussed around the headstock - do I have a leg to stand on here? Genuinely curious! Fwiw I have been selling on eBay for over 20 years and have always tried to be protective of my feedback rating even if that means the occasional golden handshake

    If you have some accurate measurements of the neck pocket you may find a suitable "paddle" neck you could reshape or alternatively scour eBay, there's a few stores that part out vintage instruments. Depending on the condition it might be worth repairing?

    Trace Elliott's new line is really shaking things up in the naming world 😁 For me it will always be the DynaSsor compressor. Bonus points for LED placement and it's also a fantastic pedal.

    Fender must be the most consistent company for dull releases! How about a Sergio Vega signature Jag bass (squier and/or fender) given the huge resurgence of Deftones? Nope 30th anniversary of In Utero was a couple of years ago, how about a squier jagstang? Nope Jack White constantly putting out music and working with high profile people like Beyonce reaching new audiences, how about a fleet of affordable teles? Nah Beatles coming round again with a number 1 (meh but still) single, how about a signature bass vi? 🥱 Nahh What about yet another sunburst precision bass that we've seen a million times? Now you're talking!
